Description
With a 7 night rental, we help you pay for your rental car if you rent this mid-20th century remodeled, 4 bedroom, 2 bath, single family home located directly on the Atlantic Ocean in the San Juan area. Seahorse waters Beach House has received many Certificates and awards for exceptional service to our guests.
Our Beach House is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, air-conditioned, single-family home with a remotely controlled entry gate. We are located only 18-20 minutes from the San Juan Airport, Condado, Isla Verde or Carolina; 15 minutes from El Yunque Rainforest; 30 minutes from Old San Juan or Fajardo; and 10-18 minutes from major shopping venues and restaurants, including Super Walmart, Marshall's, The Outlet Mall, K-Mart, Home Depot, Chili's, Ponderosa, Outback, and many others.
You'll love waking up each morning to the sound of waves gently lapping the shore. It is also an excellent lullaby!
This 2,200 square foot second home of a retired professional couple has a 600 square foot, wrap-around veranda; and is furnished tastefully for comfort, convenience, and relaxed living. The living room area has an L-shape, white leather, sectional sofa; a 40 inch flat screen television; a Blu-Ray/DVD player; and a small library of movies, videos and books. The house is Wi-Fi equipped. The main dining room table comfortably seats 6 adults. The tabletop island in the kitchen area seats 2 more. We also have a high chair for the baby; a stroller; a Pack ‘n Play; an adult bathtub chair; and a portable wheelchair ramp.
The kitchen has been remodeled with wooden cabinets and granite counter tops; a full-size refrigerator with in-door water and ice dispensers; a new glass-top electric range and oven; a large microwave above the stove; a dishwasher; a coffee maker; a Foreman Grill; a Crock Pot; a large electric roaster; and a full complement of pots, pans, tableware, dishes, glasses, cups, and cooking utensils. A separate laundry room, with washer and dryer, is located just off the kitchen. Dishwashing and laundry detergents and fabric softener, a supply of coffee, tea, sugar and creamer; as well as a starter supply of shampoo, hair conditioner, and paper products are provided. Just buy your food and a few paper or plastic supplies, and you are ready to enjoy your vacation.
The 4 bedrooms are simply furnished to comfortably sleep up to 9 guests. The master bedroom has an adjoining bathroom with a 2-head shower tub, and a king-size bed with a pillow-top mattress; the other 3 bedrooms have queen-size beds; and one of them also has a full-size futon. We also have 2 queen-size air mattresses for unexpected guests. The 2nd bathroom also has a tub with a 2-head shower fixture, and is located at the end of the hallway, convenient to the other bedrooms and other house guests or company.
A concrete, exterior staircase leads to a 2,200 square foot rooftop with breathtaking views of the ocean and spectacular sunsets.
The spacious grounds are moderately shaded by Mango, Sea Grape, Coconut, Australian Pine, and other indigenous bushes and trees. Centered on the side grounds is a large gazebo with bench seating for 15, and a cold water sink and shower. A second cold-water shower is also located outside on the beach side of the house, just inside the front gate.
The Beach House is located on the north lot of a 1.3 acre parcel, with 180 feet of fenced and secure beach frontage. The Beach House and property can be accessed through the remotely controlled, street-side entry gate, or through a manually-locked gate on the beach side. We are right next door to Malibu Beachfront Apartments.
Seahorse Waters Beach House is easy to find. We are just north of Highway 187 in Santillana del Mar, a long-established residential subdivision of the artistic and historic Town of Loiza. It is the home of Bomba and Plena, unique and dramatic forms of Afro-Caribbean music; vejigante masks, symbols and staples of the festival season all over Puerto Rico; the studio of Samuel Lind, the renowned Puerto Rican artist; several unique festivals; and San Patricio, the oldest continually operating church in the Caribbean.
