OCEAN VIEW - --Stunning views over the beautiful South coast on the Cornish Riviera - a charming log cabin for one or a couple. Conveniently-sited, peaceful surroundings and within easy reach of main travel routes. The railway and bus station (approx. 2 miles). Situated in a hamlet location, close to the historic market town of St Austell (approx. one and half miles from town centre) in Mid-Cornwall. Newquay airport is approx 20 miles.

Ocean view is an ideal place for a tranquil break and/or to explore the whole of the county Come and explore the Poldark Area- just minutes from Charlestown Harbour and close to the rugged scenery seen in the latest POLDARK series
!This fully self-catering accommodation offers high standard facilities plus an amazing view over fields sweeping down to a wide view of the coast. It is set within a secluded plot with a private entrance and parking for one vehicle. The cabin is well-appointed, maintained to a high standard and comfortable.
The accommodation has a modern and well-equipped kitchen with fan-oven, microwave,toaster, kettle etc.,a breakfast bar (all cutlery, crockery and cookware supplied). A comfortable lounge/diner, marble table (seating 2 persons), sofa-bed for two, occasional table, electric fire, Free-view TV/DVD (also excellent Internet connection) with. The cabin has an attractive bedroom with a double bed(bed linen provided), wardrobe and under-bed storage. Shower-room, vanity unit with basin, WC, hairdryer and towels provided.
The plot is private and secluded, paved patio provides your alfresco dining to the side, a decked area to the front with sea views sun loungers, for your comfort.
Alongside the cabin is a separate laundry facility with washing machine, iron etc. An outside drying area is provided. Freezer picnic box supplied. At the front of the cabin there is an area provided for the barbeque (charcoal BBQ provided)
All electricity, hot water and Wi Fi included in the tariff.

“Just amazing!”
What an amazing little lodge. The views are stunning, the welcome pack left for us was out of this world (& very much appreciated by my Afternoon tea loving partner). Marilyn and Tom couldn't have been better hosts and came to welcome us and then had a great chat on leaving. A real gem and in a great location. It is also 5 mins walk from a bus stop and 5 mins drive from the train station. The only dissapointment was that we couldn't stay longer! Massive thank you for a wonderful week. “Picturesque and peaceful”
This is a long over due, but necessary review of our stay at Ocean View. We arrived quite a lot later than we intended to, due to half the country having the same idea of a Spring getaway, but once we arrived, we were not disappointed. Tom and Marilyn were truly hospitable hosts, and made us feel very welcome, and catered for all of our holiday needs. They left us a well stocked fridge, and a welcome basket with some tasty local biscuits which we rather enjoyed as we spent our first night there. The view from the cottage is outstanding - on a clear day, the sea is visible from the lounge, and even more spectacular when viewed from the private garden. The abundance of wildlife close by, makes for a very special stay. We loved waking up to the sounds of the birds in the morning (it reminded us of our stay in the woodlands of the Netherlands), and really did add to the serenity of the location. All in all, it was a wonderful location to spend our fifth anniversary. We would love to come back again soon! Mark and Lianne Bird

“A smart compact but comfortable cabin with a view and the bonus of wildlife in adjoining field.”
From the moment of welcome by the hosts we enjoyed our two week stay at "Ocean View". We would have been happy staying longer. The welcoming gifts not only of some essentials such as milk and eggs but the added fruit and other items including Clotted Cream and scones only enhanced the overall kindness and courtesy of the hosts Marilyn and Tom. For anyone looking for a quiet peaceful base from which to explore Cornwall then I would recommend "Ocean View". Easy access to south and north coasts and close enough to towns and shops.

“My view on Ocean view”
Upon arrival we were greeted by Marilyn & Tom the owners, who made us feel very welcome. They took time to show us where everything was in the cabin. The welcome package they had prepared for us was exceptional, from milk ,eggs scones and cream, bread and so much more,it had to be one of the best I have ever seen. The cabin itself was very clean and well presented and the views were quite stunning. All things considered it was a pleasant retreat to come back to after a long day exploring Cornwall's attractions. The day we left Marilyn and Tom came down to say goodbye and they didn't make us feel like we had to rush to go unlike other places we have stayed. W would definitely recommend staying here if peace and quiet is what you're looking for. Thanks to Marilyn and Tom for making us feel welcome and for helping make our holiday memorable.
