Description

Bayside is a lovely modern detached house positioned on the glorious Pentire headland just a stones throw from the world famous Fistral beach, beautiful Gannel estuary and popular seaside town of Newquay.

It is the perfect location for a beach holiday with so much to see and do within a short walk, you really are spoilt for choice. A nice short walk from the house along the golf course takes you to Fistral Beach, a wonderful large sandy beach very popular with surfers. A collection of beach cafes and bars add to the atmosphere of this fabulous beach with surfing lessons also available. The pretty Gannel estuary and beach is only a few minutes walk in the opposite direction as is the world famous beautiful southwest coast path.

Newquay, one of the nation's favourite seaside towns, with the laid back atmosphere you would expect from a town perched on Cornwall's Atlantic Cliffs and bordered by 7 miles of glorious golden sandy beaches is just a 10 minute walk away. Newquay has a wide selection of pubs ,shops and restaurants as well as a cinema, numerous leisure facilities, zoo, Waterworld with fun pools and waterslides, aquarium, boating lake and a total of 7 beaches. The town manages to be trendy and yet remains a great family resort - all wrapped up in the most fantastic coastal scenery.

The house itself is a home from home, tastefully decorated and well equipped with a secluded garden perfect for relaxing in and alfresco dining. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs with a family bathroom and an ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom, with a king size bed and TV, and views across the Gannel estuary. Downstairs is a delightful lounge with TV, WiFi, a well equipped kitchen with a dining area and patio doors leading into the garden with a large patio and grass area. Bayside also has a second lounge room with patio doors into the garden and a TV. There is also a downstairs toilet, plenty of storage space and a private drive for parking.

Bayside is a fabulous holiday house in one of the most sought after areas of Newquay, perfect for holidays and short breaks all year round.

House rules

No groups of single young adults.
All rubbish to be placed in black bin bags in the wheelie bin and recycling placed in the correct recycling bags.
Well behaved pets (upto two) are welcome but please stay downstairs and off the furniture and please clean up all dog mess in the garden before departure.
The cleaners charge extra if guests check out late and if rubbish has to be bagged up properly.
Guests are expected to look after the house and garden during their stay and treat it with respect.

“Holiday at Penmere Drive”

What an amazing place to stay; it was lovely! It has everything you need and more. The house is clean and spacious. It’s basically home from home. The estate is lovely and quiet. There’s a drive for one car and also plenty of on street parking. The garden is fully enclosed, ideal if you’re taking your pets. It’s a good 15-20 minute walk to Newquay town and beaches but well worth it. We’d definitely stay here again.

“Cosey house in fab location”

I would rate this house a 5* It had everything we needed for our stay and catered well for our 2 dogs with a lovely garden and a doggy crate full of extra bits. The patio area was ideal and great for a place just to kick back and chill out after a long day out before getting ready to go for dinner. The showers were nice and powerful and having the en suite in the master meant no one was ever stuck for a bathroom! There was everything we needed for a cream tea upon arrival which was a lovely touch and something we took full advantage of! The beds were comfortable and the towels nice and soft. Location was superb with around a 10 minute walk to both Fistral beach and in to Newquay town. All in all a fabulous stay and would definitely stay again :)

“Fantastic dog freindly and family house.”

Perfect location near town and beach. Everything you could possibly need for the whole family and pets at this house. Private garden not overlooked and very clean and tidy. Well equipped with baby equipment, books, DVDs, games etc. The living rooms are extra bonus. very comfortable beds and a lovely touch with the welcome cream tea. We had an amazing weekend and would definitely book again.

“Absolutely Fabulous!!!”

This was in the perfect location with everything at your fingertips. The house was immaculate, like home from home, cosy, modern and warm and everything you could ever want, even catered for my dog! I highly recommend this property. It is certainly the best house we have ever stayed in in Newquay. The beds were comfortable, the furnishings were modern and the kitchen was well equipped. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay!

Response from the owner It is unfortunate this guest felt it necessary to leave such a review but not unexpected as the review was written after this guest was asked to pay some of their security deposit towards additional costs charged by an independent company and an independent linen supplier as the house was left in such a state (the worse state the cleaning company had ever seen) and the towels/sheets were so dirty they were washed 3 times and one had to be thrown away. The house is not mouldy or musty and is a lovely place to stay. Two independent professional holiday let companies checked out all the points raised by this guest and found they had no merit.
