The moment you enter the front gate, you'll feel right at home in your peaceful, private and serene oasis. As walk through the front door of this gorgeous Spanish Revival home, you'll be greeted with a warm and welcoming space combining classic comforts with modern amenities. The living room is an ideal place to relax and unwind with a good book; to catch up on your favorite programs with a premium satellite channel lineup, or to play games and enjoy family time together. For those rare, chilly winter nights, there is a warming fireplace to complete the cozy setting. During the summer months, guests will appreciate the central air conditioning.

The kitchen is well-appointed and fully stocked to make it a breeze to prepare a light snack at the breakfast bar, or to serve a full course holiday meal in the formal dining room set with handcrafted Luna Garcia pottery dinnerware. The Kitchen was updated in April 2017 with all new appliances, quartz counters and a spacious pantry.

The master suite boasts an over-sized walk-in closet, an oversized soaking tub, separate shower, and a California king-size bed (72" W x 84" L). The home is a great choice for families -- the guest bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed (60" W x 80" L) and adjoins the second bathroom. Casa Paloma comfortably sleeps 6 adults between the two bedrooms and a gorgeous Murphy bed with a queen Serta "Perfect Night" plush mattress in the living room to accommodate two additional guests.

Please let us know if you require additional furniture for your baby or infant. We can provide a baby crib or a twin-size inflatable air mattress & a highchair, for a one time $25 delivery fee.

The house also includes an inside laundry room with all of the kitchen, bed & bath amenities and supplies you would expect in your own home.

The jewel of Casa Paloma is the lush courtyard edged with palms and tropical plants that invites you to sit and savor your morning coffee, pause for a glimpse of the hummingbirds, or simply enjoy San Diego's great weather. In the evenings, unwind with a glass of wine outside on the comfortable couch with the lanterns aglow casting a romantic light off the soothing fountain.

The property owners, Keith and Paula, live next door, behind Casa Paloma. Our interaction with guests rest solely with our guests. We are available most hours to answer questions, provide recommendations, or to solve problems. We are happy to meet with guests in person for a quick introduction and to point out certain features & answers questions: - location of trash & recycling bins and collection days - how to operate the fireplace and NEST thermostat - how to use the keyless entry, Cox Contour Cable “Voice” Remote, etc If guests wish for privacy, you won’t hear a peep from us, except to bring trash & recycling bins to the curb Tuesday’s & back in Wednesdays, and for a 30-minute garden maintenance for stays > 10 days.

How do damage deposits work?
