The condo is ideally located on Ashford Avenue, the heart of El Condado, San Juan's main tourist area. It is just steps away from the beach and around major hotels and casinos. Walk down Ashford Avenue and find plenty of restaurants offering from affordable to gourmet menu choices (some open 24 hours). Also find bars, nightlife, music, and hi-end boutiques such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Channel, and Ferragamo. El Condado is San Juan's main tourist area and the condo is right on Ashford Avenue, Condado's main street. Steps from the beach, restaurants (both gourmet and fast food), bars, spas, parks, banks and drug stores. Within walking distance find the Marriott, La Concha, and Condado Plaza hotels/casinos. Walk 5 minutes to either Barlovento and Venta al Mar parks and enjoy ocean views, a quick bite or a refreshing mojito. Also walk to Condado Lagoon and enjoy the beach, kayaking and paddle surfing.

This was our first time to book a condo for a whole month! Gloria made the process so easy and was so helpful with the arrangements. Her local contact greeted us with real Puerto Rican warmth and charm. The condo is for those who wish to experience the joy of cultural immersion. Most of the residents are local which just added so much to our experience. This is an older stable residential building with lovely updates, nice pool, and attention to security... we made friends with several of the residents and the maintenance man with his charming smile!
The unit does not face the ocean but we soon grew to love the city lights and views. The apartment is exactly as the photos show. The location was terrific! We walked to the Super Max grocery store, attended church just a few blocks away and caught the bus just a block away out the front door. It was super easy to get to Old San Juan by bus. The ocean, 1/2 block away, was picture perfect! I would definitely return to this lovely little value priced cozy condo. The owner was so gracious and allowed us to use their beach chairs and supplies... everything we needed... just like it was our home!
If you don't want to be a "touron" (tourist/moron Ha! Ha!) but want to connect to the lovely community of Condado this would be an ideal place for you.
