Come stay at this Santa Barbara, California Cottage and enjoy a host of convenient amenities while traveling. This remodeled Craftsman Cottage is conveniently located with easy access to historic and lovely downtown Santa Barbara, local beaches, world class golf and a host of cultural activities. A peaceful atmosphere is provided by its off street location nestled among trees, making it a perfect romantic getaway for a couple or two couples or a small family. The completely private cottage is within walking distance of the Queen of the Missions and near the Sansum Clinic and Cottage Hospital. Guests will find a wide variety of nearby dining and shopping options. Some of the country's finest sandy beaches are also only minutes away with splashing tides to relax away an afternoon or an entire weekend.
Families with young children especially like the fact that Oak Park is just two blocks away and has a wonderful play equipment and swings. There is also a creek to explore.
This large (900sq ft) well appointed two bedroom one bath features free high-speed Internet, TV and DVD a large full kitchen complete with dishwasher, refrigerator, full stove, microwave and all the utensils to have a relaxing meal at home. A personal washer/dryer is on site. Now with a single garage (for bike or other storage only).
The two bedrooms both have queen beds with luxury bedding and down comforters. The comfortable living room has plenty of seating to enjoy the ambiance of the gas fireplace and the large 40" screen HD TV with cable and DVD. Wireless internet and free local phone keeps you connected. Outside, relax in the wonderful California weather with an outdoor dining area and lounge chairs under the flowering trees and in view of all the shrubbery in the private fenced yard.
Relax under the flowering trees and take in the wonderful California weather. Santa Barbara's coastal location means that temperatures are usually just perfect, but in the rare instances of a heat spell, we now have a portable air-conditioner we install which keeps the house comfortable for those unusual times.
Easy to bike or walk to town, there is a coffee shop around the corner, restaurants, McConnells (Santa Barbara's best ice cream) are just a couple blocks away. Bring you own bikes (we have bike storage) or use the many electric bikes available throughout the city.
You are not far from anything you may want to visit in Santa Barbara, so you are quickly home to your personal private place after a busy day enjoying all Santa Barbara offers.

Response from the owner We are sorry that you were provided the wrong key code. This was unfortunate and first time that has ever happened, but we are human. We did respond within a half hour to your phone call and you were able to access the house. You sounded very understanding at the time but we are sorry it caused you so much distress. It sounds like you allowed that unfortunate event to color your reflection on your total stay. Over the years, many happy guests have shared very different views than yours of our property. We are sorry to get this information in this format when guests communicate directly it can be much more productive.

“Relaxing”
