Sorry it has taken so long to write this. We stayed last Jan/Feb. First, it is clean!! Peaceful, sunny, quiet, livable, comfortable, homey, user friendly to name a few. The kitchen is wonderful with great appliances, plenty of pots and pans, dinnerware, nicely stocked pantry with spices and teas. The beds are so comfortable with nice linens and the towels are big and soft. I guess you could say our whole family loves this place. We are already looking forward to next year.

We have been renting for over 3 years now and our first experience in Solana Beach was perfection. From the time we arrived until we left we were not wanting for anything. Sharon and Mark's "home" had all the appointments anyone could ever need. The location, walkability was exactly what we were looking for. Restaurants, biking, long beach walks, shopping made up our days and nights. Very convenient to the Coaster train for day trips to all the various downtown attractions. I was able to cook comfortably ( although, not much!) and had an opportunity to meet some wonderful neighbors. They made it so easy for us throughout the entire process. We will be back...

This condo is everything it seems on-line and more! It gave us the best of being on vacation and being in a home-like setting. The condo comes with almost everything you need for a short or long stay. The owners are great to work with and kept communications timely and open - thank you Sharon and Mark!! We will definitely be coming back to this lovely home and highly recommend it to anyone - our 8 year old love it too!!

We took a family vacation to this condo august 4-11. This is a very comfortable place with million dollar views. It is larger than it looked in the pictures to me. Sharon is an excellent host. This was our first time renting a private home so we were not sure what to expect. Any questions I had, Sharon emailed me back lots of information. She really goes the extra mile for her guests.
The beach is about a 10 minute walk from door to chair on the sand. There are some steps down to the area and a ramp down to the sand, so be sure to bring good shoes. I was fine in my flip flops, but my mom is almost 74 and she had to take a break every so often on the walk down. There is a selection of beach chairs to take and 2 boogie boards. When I asked Sharon if she had a Smashball set, she even went to CVS to get one for us before we arrived! My dad and brother enjoy that game.
The CVS is right down the street which is very convenient. They have a decent grocery section as well as the usual stuff you find at CVS.
We went to the Cedros Design District and there is a great store called Leaping Lotus to go to for souvenirs. We went to Masuo's sushi twice, so we obviously really liked it. Also recommended would be the Fish House and Caffe la Bocca for gelato after dinner. Those are both in the same shopping center.
We really enjoyed this place for our vacation and I am sure we will go back. I have included some pictures of us on the balcony in the evening. Thank you Mark and Sharon.

This place was absolutely beautifully. The condo was extremely clean and had a very open/airy feeling that the pictures didn't do justice to. It had everything we needed as far as linens, towels & especially the kitchen. Lots of spices in the pantry, dish soap and stuff like that so we only had to replace the items we used. The little Weber grill was great. The beds were just like a 5 star hotel, so we obviously slept like babies. We weren't really there to watch TV but we couldn't help throwing in a few movies after we saw how great the picture was. Very cool!! Movies almost looked 3D. Our favorite thing to do was sit out on the deck and watch the surfers, dolphins and pelicans. The condo has binoculars, which was great and the new wicker furniture was much nicer than what is pictured here. Walking to the beach along the ridge was super easy and if you have kids, they'd like the little park there. Flowers were out everywhere so the smell was incredible, not to mention the view. Can't say enough about that. And if the quality of the condo, the solitude of the location, the pool, the sound of the surf isn't enough to convince you to stay here, we just want to add that Sharon has got to be one of the nicest renters out there. She made sure we had everything we needed and gave us lots of ideas for things to do, places to eat & stuff like that. She was a gem!

We loved this luxurious, quiet end-unit condo with fantastic unobstructed ocean views from the bluff and great light. Beautiful spacious stylish home. Everything looks brand new from top to bottom (we assume it is!). We choose this place based on its pictures and the real thing lived up to our expectations.
Other factors all lined up nicely too: Fair number of amenities in immediate walking distance including getting down to the beach front, a handful of pleasant independent laid back restaurants, and also places of convenience (e.g. Cvs). The owners were very helpful as we planned our trip. Underground parking convenient. Comfy comfy bed... etc. etc. etc.
We enjoyed the condo and Solana Beach. We hope to be back to both! -

This condo was recently remodeled and furnished with everything was new and highend in quality from the towels to the silverware to the 54" Samsung HD flat screens. The owners were accomodating and concerned about our comfort upon arrival with follow text messages welcoming us upon our arrival. The unit is open and spacious and overlooks the ocean from the ground level atop the Bluff above the beach and offers 24/7 spectacular views of the ocean, the surfers, and from time to time the dolphins. Don't hesitate in renting this condo you won't be dissapointed and bring your binoculars and camera to catch the most spectacular sunsets you'll ever view. Thanks Sharon & Mark.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this beautifully decorated condo. We found it to be very peaceful and relaxing, the views are just awesome and the cool ocean breeze flowed throughout the condo. The beach is a short walk away through a nice little family park. Everything was well thought out and very comfortable. This is a first rate condo in a nice location with many restaurants within walking distance and even more a short drive away. It has a fully loaded kitchen and nearby grocery store for the times we just wanted to stay in and enjoy this peaceful paradise. If you are looking for a comfortable luxury ocean view setting then we recommend this to everyone!

My 2 grandchildren and my sister and I stayed at this lovely condo. The decor was perfect for a beachhouse and the views were top notch. The condo had all the supplies we needed for a comfortable stay away from home. Kids loved playing their WII on the giant TV screens. The balcony is the perfect place to relax and watch the sunset. We watched a pod of whales spouting their sprays and a family of dolphins playing in the water everyday. The beach was just a short stroll and is a perfect beach for kids, waves great for boogie boarding. The pool and jacuzzi were great after the beach to wind down in. This vacation will be etched in our memories for life!

to clarify - there is not a WII console at the condo - our guest brought their own with them. that said, these TV's are certified as fantastic for these games by our own grandchildren too. So if a few of our guests were to request a WII, we would purchase one for the condo. mark

I had the great pleasure to stay in this beautiful condo during a recent trip to the area. The home is beautiful and inviting. You feel as though you are in a 5 Star Hotel but it has such an at home atmosphere. The home is well kept and has whatever you need, from top of the line appliances to Wifi computer access and 3 big screen led Tv's. The location is perfect as it is beach front with great restrauants with-in walking distance and a nearby park to take the children and Delmar Race Track is also very close. However, what was the best were the views. You could see the ocean from every room in the Condo and the owners had several areas with comfy seating to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the beautiful sunsets. I was not disappointed and I would highly recommend it. I will be a repeat visitor.

One point we should clarify. There are ocean views from almost every room - kitchen, dining, living, master bedroom. The second bedroom is sunny and bright with lovely patio and garden view but it does not overlook the ocean. mark

My friend and I stayed at this condo in May for a weekend. It was a last minute decision for us and we were so happy we decided to go. The trip was great! It was a weekend that we both needed to rest and relax. We had no problem doing either of these things. The beautiful view and fresh ocean air just lulled us into a feeling of euphoria. It truly was heave on earth and we can't wait to go back and soon!
