I loved staying at this house! In fact I didn't want to leave! The place was spacious and very clean and had all the comforts of home. The owners were fantastic to work with and kept lines of communication open through out the entire process. Felt like I was a part of their family coming to visit. Would definitely go back!

In looking for a place to stay in Va. Beach, I made my decision on Sea La Vie mostly on the owners, Elana and Roman. Not only was the description, pictures accurate, but they were so helpful and nice to deal with. Very impressed with the condition of the house, location and stores close to the house. All the Family enjoyed the stay and all wanted to extend the vacation, so we already booked for next year. Thank you so much Elana and Roman, you are the best !!!

We rented this unit 3rd week of June 2012.
2 Families with teen kids. We loved the location close to beach (just walk past few houses). Unit is well equiped. 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms were enough for all of us.
Central aC and deck/grill etc. Just the right house. They even had bottle of wine/chocolate gift when we arrived. They have boogey boards, umbrellas, beach chairs etc. 2 car off street parking. You need to drive to boardwalk area (however there are plenty metered parking spots on weekdays ($2.50/hr.)
Elena thanks for the perfect vacation rental we enjoyed our stay.

Sea La Vie provides tremendous value and a top-notch beach experience for any age group or activity level. The location is literally a minute from the beach and even offers a backyard for games and dining. Although the community and its residents are pleasantly quiet, a short walk south lead us to the boardwalk for a more active scene with attractions for a wide variety of tastes.
Upon our arrival, the house was roomy and immaculate - nothing dirty, disorganized, out of place, or distasteful. In fact, the décor was among some of the most inviting and tasteful I have seen in all of my beach-going years to many great locales along the mid-Atlantic coast. In particular, the feng shui throughout the house was phenomenal. The design and execution of each room is clean, modern, and varied throughout. Linens were already provided and seemed brand new.
The kitchen was perfectly suited for many types of cooking and contained all the appliances needed, which allowed easy preparation of many of our meals and their enjoyment at the dining table and even outside on the deck. Both of the decks were perfect for relaxing after a day. In particular, the top deck had very cool chairs, which had novel reclining mechanisms providing optimal comfort. Chairs, boogie boards, and other beach goodies were even provided in the bottom floor on the way to the beach!
This trip was the best beach vacation I've taken in the last couple decades. Our group found ourselves staying in and taking advantage of the house most of our time here. The property enabled us to do whatever we enjoy at the beach. The owners were very gracious in accommodating our stay and making it as carefree as possible. It is worth mentioning the house directly beside Sea La Vie can be concurrently rented to allow for even larger group vacations. I cannot recommend renting this property enough, especially with people you love. My friends and I will surely be returning in years to come! Thanks again Shermans! -

We spent a week at Sea La Vie for our anniversary. The beach house was spotless, modern, spacious, bright and very tastefully decorated. The furniture was very comfortable and sleeping quality was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked. We found everything we needed there. The location could not be better. The beach, beautiful state park and boardwalk are all very close and easily accessible. There is so much to do in the area even off season. Thanks a lot for the wonderful stay! We can not wait to be back again.

We cannot think of anything missing that could have made our vacation more enjoyable. The location and proximity to the beach is great, which provided for lots of fun and playtime with our son.
The pictures exactly show what the property looks like. The property is a little dated but nothing that stopped us from being cozy and comfortable. We definitely consider coming back for our next trip.
The owner is very responsive and pleasant to work out the details. We will be coming back. Thank you. -

Three generations of our family gathered at Sea La Vie for a long week end. We were all comfortable; the layout allows for privacy; the beach is very nearby, down our own little walk. The house was conveniently stocked and easy to use. We plan to go back for a week next summer, taking both houses and increasing the size of the family guests. A wonderful place.

Our arrival to Sea La Vie was delayed due to the hurricane. I was a little concerned about going down afterwards not knowing the condition of the house and surrounding area. Elena quickly put my concerns to rest when she informed me that everything was fine. When we arrived, the house and surrounding area couldn't have been better. The house was very spacious for our family and we enjoyed everything Va Beach had to offer. Thanks to Elena and Roman for allowing us to use their wonderful beach home.

We had a great vacation at this beach house. The owner was very prompt in responding to questions from the time we initially made contact with her regarding the home and accommodated our request for an early check in. The house is located close enough to the boardwalk that you are close to all conveniences but just far enough away that the beach is not crowded. We vacationed with my sister and her family and had 4 adults and 4 kids in the house.The house is clean, spacious and well equipped. There are beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards at the house which was very convenient. This was my first experience renting from an owner and I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience!

Loved the place... very cozy, clean and comfortable ! Location was ideal, away from the hustle and bustle but still close to the amenities. We were surprised at how there was almost everything we needed in the kitchen. Our trip had to be cut short because of Hurricane Irene but we were so glad we went, it feels like we have found a place we would like to go back to over and over again. Kids loved how close we were to the beach. And I have to say Elena was awesome, prompt in her responses and very pleasant. Thanks once again !

The owner was so quick to respond to all our inquiries leading up to our stay and very helpful throughout the process. This lovely home is exactly as pictured on the website. Clean, comfortable, and very spacious. The place was very well equipped for a stress-free stay. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and even bakeware. The furniture was all very comfortable and not just the utilitarian stuff in many vacation homes. The beach location is perfect, as it is just far enough away from the boardwalk to avoid the crowds. But just a short drive or walk away are all the restaurants and shops. First Landing park is also very close, and should be on every visitors to do list.

We had a great time, getting to the beach is super easy, the place was very clean and well equipped. The house is beautiful with plenty of room, wifi and cable. Getting to the supermarket and the busy street is very easy. Just rent it, you won't regret.

This was the first time I had booked a vacation spot on line and was a little worried, but the minute we opened the door I knew it was perfect! The condo was amazing, it was spotless, modern, it had everything you could think of and more. The location was great, we walked to the ocean and were settled on the beach within 5 minutes, what more could you ask for?
The owners were very pleasant, easy to deal with,and very helpful.
We had one of our best vacations ever and we have already spoken to Elena about next year, we can't wait to come back! Maureen -

We spent a week at Sea La Vie and wish we could stay longer. Location is perfect. The house is literally a few steps from the beach. Like other reviewers, we liked that the beach is much less crowded compared to the boardwalk area, but we also enjoyed the fact that the boardwalk is still very close to the house and we were able to easily get to fun places at night. Sometimes we walked there (about 20min), other times we drove. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area.
The house itself is very clean, bright and very well maintained. At night, we loved relaxing on the deck watching the stars. Kitchen was very well equipped; there was everything we needed there. Beach chairs were provided, which was really convenient. The owners were very helpful with answering our question before the arrival and promptly refunded our security deposit.
Highly recommend it and will try to return next year.

We had a great time at this house for a family vacation at the beach with our 2.5 year old son and our parents. The house was very spacious and clean. We were very pleased with the accomodations considering this was our first time renting a beach property. The owner made reserving the house easy and responded very promptly to our inquiries before and after our stay. It was so nice to be steps away from the beach and the house included plenty of great beach chairs so we didn't have to worry about bringing our own.
We also enjoyed being on the more quiet end of the beach and not in the middle of the crowded boardwalk area. The kitchen was great for making breakfast and lunch in. And we were just a drive away from restaurants and the boardwalk for dinner.
We had a great stay! I would highly recommend it and we would come back again! -

I stayed at the house with my husband, parents and kids (14 and 18) for a week in May. Loved it! The place was clean, spacious and most importantly within 1 min walking distance to the beach. The beach was very quite since all the hotels are more than a mile away. The kids loved relaxing on the deck (there are two decks) and my husband and I enjoyed morning jogging on the beach.

Sea La Vie is the perfect beach house! I stayed there recently with my girlfriend and her family. It is so bright and spacious and beautifully decorated. It really feels like a home away from home. It had everything that you need there and felt brand new. The best part was the location. It was literally steps away from the ocean, in a quieter part of Va Beach, yet so close to all the main attractions. We really enjoyed bike riding and roller blading on the paved path and also had a great time in the state park. I came during off-season, but still had a great time, and can't wait to go back when the water warms up.
