Description
Our house is located 15 min away from the Sjo Int. Aiport in a country setting surrounded by coffee fields. The suite-studio has a private entrance with one bedroom, full bathroom, balcony and expansive views of the entire Central Valley.
- Transfer in from the airport are easy to coordinate for $20.00 USD.
- Transfer out to the airport is included into the Airbnb rate.
- Upon 3 nights both transfers are included
- Transportation, tours and day trips are available; find us as rutaverde
- Split floor plan (you are in the completely private 2nd floor of our house).
- Light breakfast included (coffee,orange Juice, fruits, yogurt and granola)
- A cooked breakfast is offered for a small fee.
- We offer dinner for our guest with advantage reservations.

Trips into San Jose are easy to do. The Poas Volcano National Park is just 40 minutes up the road. What makes my location special is being near the big city, but away from the hustle and bustle in the beautiful countryside. It's truly the best of both worlds!
As licensed tour guides, we provide comfortable mini-van transportation or customized tours to any destination of your choice.
Tourist destinations nearby: Poas Volcano Natl. Park, Doka Coffee Tour, La Paz Waterfall Garden, Farmer Fair, La Tirimbina Rain Forest Reserve, among many others.
We can provide the following trips for an extra cost:
- Alajuela City Tour, visit the Alajuela Catholic Cathedral, Juan Santamaria Historical Museum, Central market, (include a stop in a coffee shop) among others interest attraction. $ 25.00 USD pp 2.5 hours
- Cultural Tour, Grecia Church and Sarchi Craft Village $ 70.00 USD per trip
- La Paz Waterfall Garden and Doka Coffee Tour. (*) $ 120.00 USD per trip
- Sarapiqui River Rafting and Chocolate Tour at the La Tirimbina Rain Forest Reserve. (*) $ 160.00 USD
*Note: Many of the suggested locations charge a separate admission fee.
