Response from the manager Apologies, I thought I had responded to this earlier. I am sorry that you didn't enjoy your time on St Barts. Air conditioned living areas are unusual on St Barts, as they are designed to be left open to the deck. Also mosquito nets are rare in rental villas as the AC will keep them at bay. The nearby pond is salt water, so contains no mosquitoes. I am afraid we have no control over the island's roads or the beaches, that four wheel drive is required is shown on the villa description.. Should you wish to come back to the island again we can certainly find you a more centrally located property, with an enclosed living area.
