Ghillie's Cottage is part of Rivercatcher, A small estate of 5 luxury holiday cottages located on the banks of the River Dee.

Ghillies's Cottage is an ideal romantic luxury countryside retreat. This detached boutique waterfront stone cottage near Snowdonia is packed full of character. With its woodburning stove set in the original inglenook fireplace in the sitting room, and a stunning contemporary and light filled kitchen/dining room, the cottage provides the perfect holiday rental retreat for relaxing. Ghillies Cottage has fantastic views across the River Dee and its own private garden and Hot Tub.

Ghillie's Cottage has one kingsize bed with a award winning Burgess Beds mattress and crisp white linen.

The spacious Villeroy & Boch Bathroom has a separate bath and shower. Towels and robes are included.

At Rivercatcher our guests can enjoy the use of 'The Lodge' games room. This has a full size tennis table, table, also table football and a large flat screen TV with comfortable seating. It also has a patio area overlooking the garden.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
