“Perfection” This was the first time we have booked a private villa and were a little nervous as to what to expect - our concern was unfounded, the villa "did exactly as it said on the tin"! Carlton was excellent and nothing too muc trouble. The location is perfect, near to all restaurants and bars, beach etc. We really didn't want to leave and are looking forward to returning.

“A luxurious villa that meets and exceeds your every wish.” I had visited the Villa in November 2012 and was not too sure what to expect as it was a last minute trip. From my first email to the owner of the property, he conducted a very professional and friendly dialogue. He answered all my questions and was very accommodating to our needs before arrival. On arrival, the owner arranged for us to be picked up from the airport and be brought to the villa. The Villa has to be the most luxurious and perfectly designed Villa I have ever stayed in. There is absolutely no expense spared in the creation of this Villa. The owner of the Villa was able to provide us with all the services we required and we felt like we were staying in a 5 Star hotel. The property had every amenity we could possibly think of and more. One of the Properties most impressive features was the quality of the furniture and fittings of the property. It is a well constructed property perfect for a family and the type of Villa you won't want to leave. The Location that the property was set in, is the Saint James town of Barbados. The Villa was walking distance to the beach and nearby shops but the Villa is also within a quiet community. I was travelling with a party of 6 people and we were all in ore of the properties perfection. The property had en-suite bathrooms with all bedrooms, beautiful balconies overlooking the pool, Bose Sound system with outdoor speakers and iPod docking. The property also contained great gardens, outdoor Veranda's, jacuzzi and a fully equipped kitchen. In conclusion, the party and i were extremely sad to leave and all entertain the thought of visiting Barbados again and staying at the Villa which was the highlight of our trip.

“Wonderful stay!” We had a wonderful trip and the apartment was even better than we expected. We had no trouble getting ahold of Sonja when we arrived and she was ready and waiting for us after our taxi arrived. The apartment was very clean, very well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. Really like a home away from home although the apartment is slightly larger than our house so we reveled in the extra space! We spent the first week mostly hanging around Speightstown, going to the beach a lot and exploring the town. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning; it was wonderful to sit outside and watch the waves. Our son especially loved to stand on the balcony and watch the cars go by (go figure). We did have to rearrange some of the decorations to be out of his reach, but that was a minor thing and I think I put everything back in its proper place. :) The beach was very nice and private; we were the only people using it the vast majority of the time we went down there. All the rocks and coral did make it a little hard to wade with our two year old but we did find some nice sandy spots and he had fun going out a little deeper with us holding him. We spent the second week renting a car and exploring more of the island and found that Speightstown was a very good base for going to most of the attractions that we wanted to see like the wildlife reserve and animal Flower Cave. Overall, we had an excellent trip and would recommend Barbados, and this apartment, to anyone seeking a fun and relaxing family vacation.

“Very good location” Carlton was very easy to talk to and ask for help on anything to do with the island. He did all this even before I met him for the first time. So this was setting me up as too how it was to be in person and he was just as pleasant and helpful when we arrived. The house is in a great location and an easy walk to everything you need. We did not see monkeys in the garden but they were on the street in front of the house a few times which was a thrill for us. You will feel very safe in the area where the rental is located as well. The only thing I would have to say that was not up to my liking were the beds. They were really hard and needed a pad on the top of them for more comfort . After being there a week you really felt your back getting sore. One other thing that could have been better was the house keeping. The lady was so sweet and nice to be around I did not dare ask her to do a better job on the floors. It was so minor and we were only there a week so I chose to over look it. I would not even consider staying at another place if I ever get the chance to return. Carlton has my business and I have told others to rent as well from this same place. Well worth the look. “A slice of paradise” Location, location, location - it doesn't get better. One walks across the road to the very best beach on the island. Pure white sand, swaying palms and a warm sea. The magic is the house with it's stunning landscaped garden and alamanda flowering bushes. The pool and decking when one wakes or to wallow in with a drink at the end of the day not a bad conclusion. The wonderful maid who kindly prepared breakfast and suppers as needed, very happy, a good cook and made us feel spoilt. I can highly recommend a week at alamanda. We stayed a week in 2008 and have been back every year since.

“Paradise Found!!” This was our third visit to Barbados but staying at Southern Marsh made this particular stay outstanding. The house is decorated with impeccable taste. It is very large with four bedrooms and three baths. It's as luxurious as our place back home. The full kitchen, dinning room/living room are complemented by a great backyard for eating al fresco or drinks. Location is perfect. A quiet 2 minutes from St. Lawrence Gap, grocery store and 5 minutes from beautiful Dover beach. The superb quality, value and location makes this the only place to stay in B'dos. The owners were particularly great to deal with and arranged airport transfers and special outings. I want to return today!!!

“Excellent” I stayed 3 weeks at this beautiful place. The apartement was great and is next to the sea. Some really beautful beaches are around with pure white sand. A rental car is absolutely needed to get to the supermarkets and to other beaches. Stefano, the guy who rent the apartements is great. Whenever i had questions or something was to arrange, he was there and offered help. A really friendly guy I can absolutely recommoned this place and would go there again. I really enjoyed my holidays.

“Great!!!” A really great location in the south of the island! In the neighborhood of the friendly bajan people! A short way to the city Oistens with bus just 10 Minutes. The host Stefano and his wife are very helpful and friendly. Very Great!! We enjoied every day in the beautiful blue ocean cottage. Its clean? It is!!! Perfectly clean!! I can advise this location alot!!!

“The most relaxing spot. Ever.” Par's Place is one of the most relaxing places you could go for your vacation. If you really want to get away and be right on the beach, this is your place. There is a Supermarket right across the street with a pharmacy in it. You can also buy your rum there. The owner of the place is really great and will help you out in any way you need. The place is minutes from Hole-town if you feel like going out. But what I really like was the place felt off the beaten path but close to it.I would recommend this place to families all the way to couples looking for a great getaway.
