“More than I could have expected!” Our trip consisted of myself and my Boyfriend, and another Couple. We had been looking for about 4 months for the perfect cabin get-away in the Hocking Hills area. We thought we came across a few winners, that was UNTIL we found Marsh Hollow! Marsh Hollow was so much better than I had even imagined! A lot of other cabins we saw along the way had pictures online to make it seem it was secluded, when I saw that there actually was another cabin right on top. Marsh Hollow ShadySide Cabin was secluded! There is a pine grove separating the 2 cabins that are on the property. There is a lot of property between the two cabins that I didn't even realize that there was anyone over there until we went on a walk along the creek. The inside of the cabin is amazing! Anything you could possibly anticipate needing in the kitchen is there! There is also a gas grill on the back deck! The sound system was awesome! It was really neat to have it set up outdoors also! We were able to listen to music while we were in the hot tub! Everything at Marsh Hollow is excellent! Mary & Dave are very accommodating and sweet people! We are planning our trip already for next year! Our vacation consisted of wanting to travel around the Hocking Hills area checking out the 6 different areas of the state park. The distance from the cabin to all of our areas of interest is very reasonable! Thank you for everything Mary & Dave!!

“Adventure!” I was impressed with the shifting scenery, nature itself, the feel of being comforted and calmed! I cannot recommend this enough, especially for those where life never slows down. This was a NEEDED break and a reminder electronics are not a life or death situation. With that being said yes you do have internet access-lol!

“Laurelwood falls” We had a great time at the cabin. The creek with the waterfalls were amazing. It was the mat relaxing trip we have been on. Cabin was very clean and well stocked. We will definitely be back.

“Very Enjoyable!!!” This cabin was everything we needed and more. This was mine and my husband's first time away since we had children. This was so enjoyable, the cabin was perfect. We actually plan on coming back and bringing our children. It is so quiet we could hear the leaves fall. The owner was so helpful and very nice. I will for sure be back soon.

“New favorite place” We have spent several years, renting cabins at different locations trying to find a place that we want to go back to every year. We finally found the place. We had a wonderful & relaxing visit. The Cabin was very comfortable, clean & spacious and John was very accommodating. We will be making an annual return to Marsh Hollow.

“Amazing” I can't say enough good things about this cabin or the owners. Our stay was absolutely perfect, cabin is up to date, clean and fully stocked to feel like home! The owners bent over backwards to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. Whenever we come back to Gatlinburg, we will most definitely be staying at the treehouse at the glades!

“Quiet and Beautiful View” The home is located up on the mountain, quiet, beautiful in colors in October. Christmas trees all about, deers sighted, yard to enjoy, hiking the road with dogs is great. “Awesome!” What an absolute positive surprise! We visited with 4 adults and 2 young children..everybody had a great time..the playhouse and play loft is great for the kids..the views from the deck accompanied by the birds is grand..the kitchen is great and so well stocked..all kinds of herbs, oils etc..never seen anything like that before in a rental..the whole house is stocked like that! Just wow! We were also impressed with the local supermarket carrying superb meat and other fresh produce..anyway a really awesome rental in Idyllwild we hope to return to many more times
