“Location is unbeatable!” We throughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Fantastic location! 1 minute walk from the major "Sol" train station, as well as some busy nightclubs for those interested. Well equipped apartment. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms. There is even an Xbox! Because the apartment is on one of the top floors it is also very quiet, a contrast to the busy pedestrian street outside. Would definitely recommend that others stay here. Location is unbeatable!

“Wonderful stay” I stayed five weeks in Madrid in February/March in this apartment and i must say i was delighted. Everything was perfect : cleanliness, comfort, decor, location, quiet enough (this is Madrid after all...)and efficient wifi. I really enjoyed having someone to clean the apartment every week and to change the bed and towels. This apartement is located at the third floor without an elevator, therefore it is not for everyone. I will come back at my next stay in Madrid.

“Top accomodation in the heart of Madrid” My wife and I staied 2 weeks in this excellent apartment and we did not regret it ! The location is fantastic, just a couple of minutes walk from plaza Mayor, Latina, the Royal palace, etc. It's a historic building, but fully and nicely refurbished, very well equipped, cleaned and maintained very professionaly, the owners were extremely supportive and acted promptly at any request. The air conditioning was a bonus, the bed was excellent, we would have prefered a real oven rather than a grill/microwave, but this just because we had special needs to heat up gluten-free bread for breakfast. Only a minor issue with the Internet connection, that the owner promised to fix as soon as possible. Overall, we strongly recommend this apartment.

“Comfortable Flat in the Heart of the Sol District” We stayed for a week in this very comfortable flat located right in the centre of the Sol district. The location is very central, with lots of restaurants, shopping, convenience stores, and supermarkets nearby. It is also within walking distance of other attractions such as Plaza Mayor, Palacio Real, and steps away from the major road Gran Via. The flat itself is exactly as shown in the photos - it has a living/dining room with small kitchen. There is a ceramic hob with 2 heat elements, as well as a microwave oven. Dishes, glasses, cups, and cutlery as well as a few pots and pans are provided. The fridge is a full size with freezer. There is also a washing machine which worked very well, and laundry detergent for 3 loads was provided. There is no dryer, however there is an electric drying rack which certainly helped a lot. There is also an iron and iron board provided. A starter amount of paper products are provided, as well as hand soap and dish soap. The apartment has 2 AC units, one in the bedroom and another in the living room, both of which worked very well and certainly helped as we had a few hot days during our stay. There is free wi-fi which worked very well. The owner Marga, was very helpful and responded to our emails very promptly. As soon as we booked the place 2 months prior, we kept an ongoing communication with her which continued throughout our stay. She answered all our questions and gave us a few suggestions on where to eat, what flamenco shows to watch,etc. She was quick to send dish towels over when we asked her if there were any (there were, but had been inadvertently taken away). She was very gracious, pleasant and accommodating at all times. The apartment and everything about it was comfortable. There is only one negative thing I will mention, and even this is beyond anyone's control. Because of its central location, there is some noise from outside, especially during the weekends. It was really loud on Saturday night because people were out all night at the bars, and the noise continued nonstop until 6 in the morning. If you are a very light sleeper, this will be a problem. However, earplugs were provided by the owner, and I must say they helped. While it didn't totally keep out the noise, it muted it very much to the point you can sleep comfortably. I guess this is part of being in the heart of the city. Other than that, I would highly recommend this beautiful flat in Madrid.

“marvelous flat” Apartment is magnificent and Nuria and crew run it with total professionalism. We have rented many times in Europe and this flat is one of very best in all respects. I would (and will!) recommend it to anyone going to Madrid. Loca is perfect (it is true, if coming in late at night it may look a little scary if you are from suburbs, but that is just because of city graffiti covering gates pulled down over stores at night). Building is super secure so any concerns were immediately left, literally, at the door. For me the major anxiety of foreign flat rental is coordinating the initial pickup but armondo was waiting at door when we arrived. (He also arranged our departing taxi, which worked like a charm.) Bed and other furniture are comfortable, layout and equipment is such that you could actually live there (not just stay a few days), even if you like creature comforts, as do we. Quiet! Clean! Nice decor! Well equipped kitchen! Good lighting! Thoughtful inclusions like toilet paper and olive oil make this feel like it's a flat equipped for a friend, not a client.
