“Escape from reality” My husband and I both have high-pressure jobs. We were looking for an escape from the grind. We found it at Water's Edge. As we entered the gate of this quaint island paradise reality melted away. The main living area is open and comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious. But I can't say that we spent much time in the house... The view from the back patio is breathtaking. The doors open to a beautiful outdoor living space which overlooks the Caribbean. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner outside! The days were lazy, filled with much needed R&R.; We read books, napped in the hammock, and simply enjoyed the sun and the seascape. The home has direct access to the water, and the pool is perfect for that quick dip to cool off. Although we were looking for a quiet getaway, nightlife was not far away. We found it easy to get over to Paradise Island for some dinner and gambling at atlantis. We enjoyed our trip so much we returned with our daughter the following year. She enjoyed it as much as we did. We've got a new baby at home, but are looking forward to getting back to Water's Edge soon.

“A great and fun place to stay” The house is spectacular. Very very well stocked and the manager Al made sure we had everything we needed and even came out a couple of times to quickly address any concerns we had. Very very close access to the beach and dock. Garage well stocked with water toys, chairs, fishing rods, etc. Everything you need. Abundant toiletries, towels, games and entertainment made for a very comfortable stay. Gift basket was a nice touch. Super easy checkout! We will definitely look to rent from again if we ever come back to the area, which we hope to do someday. Thanks!

“A wonderful place to be!” Our rental was right on the pool/beach. It was perfect! Gorgeous pool and the beach - beautiful, private - everything you could want. The cottages were spacious, clean and kitschy. They had everything you needed. You could tell good people stayed there as everything was well kept and stocked. The owner, Liz, was lovely and even though we had no pets, every pup there was well behaved and everyone was respectful of the rules. The people staying at the other cottages were wonderful and had stayed there before. Obviously Liz knows what she’s doing . My parents also stayed with us and both of them loved the place. The beds were very comfortable which doesn’t always happen in rentals. Hoping to see you next year! Cheers!

“Best stay ever!” I had an amazing stay at this Villa! Daniel and his staff were awesome! Maria cooked dinner and breakfast for us which was so tasty! The home was clean and well put together. It had amazing beachfront views, I would definitely stay here again!

“What a great getaway location to relax and view the secluded private beach and gorgeous ocean view!!!” We stayed in the Lobster Shack which is a cozy clean bungalow which offered a salt water pool with an awesome view of the Gulf waters. Liz is great making sure our needs were met while addressing unexpected refrigerator problems. She is quick to reply contacting a repairman to resolve the issue. Canines are welcome. I miss the relaxation and calmness of the setting yet on Gulf Blvd there are activities to meet everyone's interests. Thank you Liz and love your puppies.❤

“Perfect pet-friendly cabin with style and a view!” Location is great. Easy to find and get to. Few minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Has all the accomodations for a perfect, relaxing weekend. Spectacular view of the mountains from the front door/inside the cabin/on the deck. Hot tub worked wonders for relaxing and recuperating. Enough room for a small family, two couples, or just the two of you. Liz is a friendly owner.

“A week of tropical relaxation!” Ivan, We have been home nearly 2 weeks now but find ourselves still thinking and talking about what a wonderful time we had. We found the condo exceptional. The attention to detail in the condo was impressive. That along with the beautiful view from the condo and the great location of the condo on the property made it truly seem like the perfect accommodation. A short 4 minute walk to the beach or another short 5-6 minute walk to the Mariner Restaurant and two larger pools. We cannot say enough about the staff of the Fishing Lodge. It seemed they went out of their way to anticipate our every need. Delicious food, entertainment, cleanliness, hospitality and excellent service along with the beauty of the condo and resort provided us with a very memorable vacation. We hope to visit again. “Gorgeous views, Family friendly, Pet friendly beach house” This was a wonderful place to spend the Christmas holiday at with extended family. Our tweens really enjoyed the ping pong and air hockey. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Watching the tides come in and out and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets was lovely.
