“The Cottage at West 1077 = August 2013” We have stayed in Bandera almost every year since 1997 and this accomodation was by far the best we've ever experienced. A delightful, beautifully appointed cottage in the edge of the Hill Country State Natural area and just a short drive from the centre of 'The Cowboy Capital of the World'. The cottage boasts two bedrooms, a lovely bathroom, spacious lounge and even a well appointed kitchenette. The icing on the cake was the lovely porch complete with rocking chairs and table and chairs, perfect for watching the local wildlife and the sun set over the Hill Country. The owners, Mr & Mrs Kirchner, were really friendly, attentive and couldn't do enough for us. They ensured the cottage was topped up with fresh towels and made sure that our stay was as perfect as possible. All in all, we say without hesitation that we have found our Bandera 'home from home' and will visit again (and again)whenever we can. Thank you Mr & Mrs Kirchner, for letting us stay at your wonderful cottage!

“Best stay ever!” I had an amazing stay at this Villa! Daniel and his staff were awesome! Maria cooked dinner and breakfast for us which was so tasty! The home was clean and well put together. It had amazing beachfront views, I would definitely stay here again!

“Casa Del arbol Cantando” We give Casa Del arbol Cantando a 5 Star+ Rating! We stayed with a group of friends from 12/17 to 12/28/12 and can't say enough about the condo, the location and the caring, personale and involved owners, Sherwin and Peg. We have rented a lot of condos over the years in different locations and this one stands out as one of the best ever. The condo is gorgeous, the location is breathtaking. Waking up to that view every morning was amazing. Our quads are in the best shape ever after those breathtakingly beautiful hikes up and down the 76 stairs to LaRopa! We loved the quality touches, the gorgeous dishes, glassware, copper bottom cookware (could have used a baking sheet however)and artsy touches. The signature "arbol cantando" is a huge wow factor! The ambience is perfect. Having 2 patios was delightful and both are a plant and flower lovers feast! Dona Rosario was a wonderful personable housekeeper who makes great breakfasts! The five of us had plenty of room to relax and spread out. Most of all what sets this condo apart is the caring and personable owners. They were great at answering questions ahead of time but called while we were there to make sure everything was ok. We were sharing photos back and forth and made new friends in the process of renting. All of their recommendations for restaurants and experiences were spot on. I'm sure they make all their guests feel this special! We took the bus often to explore the great restaurants and our favorite coffee shop in Zihua - it's easy to get the bus just a block from the bottom of the stairs and at 6.5 pesos just riding the bus was a fun local adventure. Also from the condo it's a great hike over to Playa Las Gatas - again the best combination of workout and then relaxing great beach, fish tacos and cerveza once there. We would highly recommend this great condo to anyone looking for a memorable Zihua experience!

“Paradise” We stayed in the 2 floor cabin with two bedrooms with our son's family and had a wonderful week! The hosts (Eladio and Vanessa)and staff make you feel like family! The gracias hostess brought out toys for the grandchildren and sent fruit from their trees for us to enjoy! We loved the pool which is very clean and does not have the bleach smell. As they talked with us by the pool we learned more of Guanacaste. The birds were absolutely beautiful. We saw: White-ringed Fly Catcher, humming birds, green parrots, Blue Crowned Motmot (which is usually only down in Cabo Blanco), Morning Doves, a Baltimore Orial, Blue Grey Tanger, and Bronze head Black Bird. We went to the Volcano (Vieja)one day but it was closed due to activity. So we walked down the the nearby falls. Absolutely gorgeous. Wear your bathing suit! Another day we went to a beach near Nicaragua but the water there was too cold due to the Humbult current - like the Gulf stream up North that warms the water, this stream cools the water. I recommend Colebra! It is only 30 minutes away and absolutely beautiful. Bring your bug spray though. Only the mattresses will make you want to go home. They were a little hard, but normal for the area.

“4th of july vacation” We stayed at your amazing condo, for one week, during july 4th. What a wonderful place to watch the fireworks, top floor, overlooking the island, the beach club, the ocean... The condo is so big, we had a chef cook for us twice during our stay, we had plenty of room for all of us and a couple staying at Veranda. The view from both balconies is stunning and it's a perfect place for relaxing or a party, we did both!!

“Great, beautiful villa with a great owner!!!!” The villa was just as beautiful as the pictures!! Also there was a miscommunication with the number of guests and the owner was very understanding and handled it promptly. He was very nice and was available when needed. I would recommend this villa 100%!!!

“Fabulous time” Hi Bryan, We have just given the keys to Frederick after an absolutely delightful stay at in your beautiful place. The gracious comfort and hospitality offered by your unit and the surrounding property was surpassing. It was an incredibly special time for our family- the beach, the pool, the town, the dining but most of all the awesome penthouse. Stunning views outside and comfortable living and eating spaces inside.Truly a vacation to savour for a long time and warm our hearts as we return to the icy north. Frederick was the consummate advisor and advocate. You have an excellent manager in his auspices. He demonstrated an appropriate oversight of your property and our needs entirely without being intrusive. His advice during our stay was most helpful. Understandably, our kids and their families, are conducting an impassioned propaganda campaign for a repeat performance next year in PV. They are all enthralled with your place and the PV experience. “Wonderful Barbados villa” For the past 5 years we have spent the winter months of January, February & March here in Sunset Crest, Holetown, Barbados. The last 2 years here at Mangoes, which meets our every need. Close to beach, beach house, shopping and many restaurants all within easy walking distance. “Fabulous time!” The staff was so friendly and helpful! They provided Beach towels and a pass to a couple of local beaches even though we preferred to go to other places. The apartments were clean and had all the utensils we needed. Towels were changed daily and we felt very safe there. There are a couple of small local supermarkets in the area as well. They have a nice barbecue area. I absolutely would go back!!!! On a sidenote it's a lot more convenient to rent a car so you're able to see the island from a lot of different perspectives not just as a tourist. ENJOY!

“The best place in Rio!” I stayed at Jane's beautiful apartment in Ipanema with my wife in Feb 2013 and it was the most perfect & luxurious apartment you could hope for. The apartment was spacious with nice modern decoration inside. The pool and the view from the pool is probably the best on the strip! Jane was so helpful from the moment we agreed to stay, months before our trip, always providing us with helpful info about the apartment and Rio in general. “Amazing Experience for Someone Traveling alone” My trip to Barbados was my first out of North america and I was traveling alone to see friends in St James and St Michael. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Not only was I close to my friends, I was close to everything else...the grocery store, the beach and the bus stop. My apartment was beautiful and spacious with all the amenities you could possibly need, a pool outside the door complete with bbq and many lounge chairs. I enjoyed reading in the sun on my balcony and meeting the other guests. The staff were amazing and we had many chats during my stay. Errol was amazing and provided for my every need. Will definitely be going again and staying in these amazing apartments when I do!

“Great Place!” My husband and I, had a great time at this condo. It was well maintained and perfect for our family. Having the pool close by on the ground floor was perfect for my kids and Claudia at the reception was incredibly helpful. I really appreciated all the help Tony provided prior to the trip. We referenced his helpful tips and recommendations throughout the trip and it really enhanced our vacation experience. We would definitely stay here again.
