“"Fantastic condo"” We have just returned from our stay at Coral Haven and can't wait to return. We are regular visitors to the Island and usually stay closer to Maxwell/Hastings however this location is beautiful - fantastic sea views to the front and a herd of goats and chickens to the rear which kept us entertained. The condo is modern, clean and very comfortable, large airy spaces which are kept cool with the sea breeze - no need for air con. Bedrooms are comfortable and well equipped with plenty of towels and bed linen. Kitchen is well equipped, cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave - we dined in a couple of times and my only criticism would have been to have some more kitchen utensils (scissors and can opener were broken) but we managed perfectly well and Pat has thought of everything guests would need. There is a utility room with washing machine, iron etc. so no need to go home with dirty laundry! Wi-Fi had just been installed and this was really useful. The roof top terrace is very private and the plunge pool is just what you need to cool down - we spent a couple of afternoons on the roof top using the sun loungers - so peaceful and private. Coral Haven is close to Miami Beach - 5 mins in the car and about 10/15 mins from Oistins - public transport in the area is limited so a car is a necessity. Chicken Rita's is just across the road, very easy choice for some good chicken. Generally the area is very quiet and peaceful although Chicken Rita's can get lively especially at the weekend. Café Luna is close to Miami Beach and we'd recommend this terrace restaurant for superb food and romantic setting. The booking process was very easy and straight forward - Pat is so organised, friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble and this helpfulness extended to Marcia who met us at Coral Haven and showed us around. Both ladies made the whole experience very smooth and enjoyable. Overall, we had a great holiday and would strongly recommend Coral Haven for a self catering holiday, we'll definitely be making a return visit. Thank you Pat and Marcia for a fabulous stay.

“Perfect location for a relaxing holiday in Barbados” This a lovely villa set in a well tended estate, located in the hills not far from Speightstown. As the name suggests, the villa enjoys a cooling breeze making for a great retreat from the heat along the coastline. It is well appointed and comfortable throughout and is adjacent to the clubhouse pool from which the sun-downer views are stunning! You need to hire a car, but driving is straightforward in Barbados - just remember to book a car well in advance in high season, as demand is high then. All in all a great place to stay, and a good base to tour the island from.

“Awesome” It's not often that one finds a place to call home and Cupid's Home is a home away from home. It was a vacation like I've never experience before. Everything was spotless. The condo was very self-contained to all my needs, and Mr. Cupid was most pleasant and accommodating. I also enjoyed the bonus of the vehicle he offers with the package, meaning no transportation issues, and the location was approximately 7mins away from any point of interest I wished to visit. I highly recommend staying at Cupid's Home, for an enjoyable and most relaxing vacation.

“Perfection” This was the first time we have booked a private villa and were a little nervous as to what to expect - our concern was unfounded, the villa "did exactly as it said on the tin"! Carlton was excellent and nothing too muc trouble. The location is perfect, near to all restaurants and bars, beach etc. We really didn't want to leave and are looking forward to returning.

“We loved it!!!” On a recent vacation with my husband and 22 month old daughter, we stayed at the Vida Mejor and we absolutely loved it! Carlton was amazing! He helped us arrange transportation from the airport. Carlton welcomed us with a friendly hand shake when we arrived and was nothing less than polite and helpful! The villa was very clean, and nice. Great location!!! A 5-10min walk to beach and cafes/restaurants. My Daughtet loved the pool!!! And we kinda adopted the villa cat while we were there.( my daughter insisted on taking care of it :-) A great place to stay. We look forward to staying here again in 2014!

“Best Of Barbados Cathy & Tony 2012” We recently had the great pleasure of staying in condo Palm Beach Condos. Condo #1. This wonderful condo is owned by a lovely couple whom live there part time and share it with others for enjoyment. It is off the main hwy and very private, quiet and secluded. Condo #1 is very unique in that it is the only corner property facing the the beach with a wonderful balcony with great views of the sunset by evening and water activities by day. Lies 10ft from the beach. There are plenty of water activities available as well as just strolling on the beach and relaxing with restaurants available along the beach. There is a fresh water pool as well. It has a dining/living rm combination which is open air with multiple fans for excellent ventilation for tropical breezes and cooling. The condo is immacuately kept and well furnished. Kitchen has everything thing for cooking equisite meals. The bedroom has a king size bed and is cooled(air con) with multiple fans and very confortable for sleeping with the open windows for the wonderful sound of the surf. It is located within walking distance to grocery shopping, excellent restaurants of various meals,and gift shopping. Bus service is located on main street to take you all over the island. This was a 65th birthday gift for Cathy which will be remembered for a life time. We want everyone to know that is coming to Barbados this is the best place to come and stay. We hope to return soon and will be making our reservation only for condo # 1. The owners and Care taker Pat are a dream to work with and go out of their way to make your stay in their home most enjoyable. Thanks Dayle and George.

“home away from home” The property is well maintained and Carlton takes pride in ensuring everything meets your needs. We stayed for a month with our infant son and couldn't have asked for a better location. It was walking distance to restaurants, groceries, beach, and centrally located for driving to other attractions. Carlton was able to provide a pack n' play, stroller, and high chair for our son. The pool was very handy to have on those days when we didn't want to be out and about. Carlton and Peggy were very helpful with suggestion of places to go and things to do.

“Very good location” Carlton was very easy to talk to and ask for help on anything to do with the island. He did all this even before I met him for the first time. So this was setting me up as too how it was to be in person and he was just as pleasant and helpful when we arrived. The house is in a great location and an easy walk to everything you need. We did not see monkeys in the garden but they were on the street in front of the house a few times which was a thrill for us. You will feel very safe in the area where the rental is located as well. The only thing I would have to say that was not up to my liking were the beds. They were really hard and needed a pad on the top of them for more comfort . After being there a week you really felt your back getting sore. One other thing that could have been better was the house keeping. The lady was so sweet and nice to be around I did not dare ask her to do a better job on the floors. It was so minor and we were only there a week so I chose to over look it. I would not even consider staying at another place if I ever get the chance to return. Carlton has my business and I have told others to rent as well from this same place. Well worth the look. “Amazing Experience for Someone Traveling alone” My trip to Barbados was my first out of North america and I was traveling alone to see friends in St James and St Michael. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Not only was I close to my friends, I was close to everything else...the grocery store, the beach and the bus stop. My apartment was beautiful and spacious with all the amenities you could possibly need, a pool outside the door complete with bbq and many lounge chairs. I enjoyed reading in the sun on my balcony and meeting the other guests. The staff were amazing and we had many chats during my stay. Errol was amazing and provided for my every need. Will definitely be going again and staying in these amazing apartments when I do!

“A slice of paradise” Location, location, location - it doesn't get better. One walks across the road to the very best beach on the island. Pure white sand, swaying palms and a warm sea. The magic is the house with it's stunning landscaped garden and alamanda flowering bushes. The pool and decking when one wakes or to wallow in with a drink at the end of the day not a bad conclusion. The wonderful maid who kindly prepared breakfast and suppers as needed, very happy, a good cook and made us feel spoilt. I can highly recommend a week at alamanda. We stayed a week in 2008 and have been back every year since.
