“Great location and great patio” I used to live in LJ and was looking for a centrally located vacation rental to come back and visit and this was perfect! Great location- we walked everywhere!!! The patio is great and gets a nice breeze- we were cool in July! Plenty of furniture and a table for dinner outside. The property is older but charming, the living room furniture is very comfortable and newer, and the whole place is very very clean. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. There is parking for 1 car in the private driveway and our friends always managed to find street parking easily. The kitchenette has a mini-fridge, coffee pot, and a microwave as well as basic dishes. Great for couples and adults but not really small children due to the stairs and no full fridge (storage of milk). I would happily recommend this rental!

“Breathtaking Tennis Estate” This estate is truly amazing. It has had everything I was looking for. I went here with my family and friends. We all had an amazing time. It has something for everyone. My friends and I throughly enjoyed the tennis court. We played so much I think I still have blisters on my feet lol. The tennis court isn't the only thing played on it. The kids loved riding bike, playing catch, basketball, tag, among other games they played. There is also a great playground adjacent to the tennis court in the grass. The kids also loved jumping on the trampoline. This estate also has a pool. It is a great pool just to lounge in or if you have kids there is no deep end which we all liked. No matter where you are this place has amazing views. You have views of the country side along with views overlooking San Diego. We really loved that every night we saw hot air balloons in the sunset sky. Also in the summer months Sea World shoots off fireworks which we could see in the horizon on clear nights. Although there are many restaurants near by. This estate has an amazing gourmet kitchen. There were a few nights we decided to not go out and went to a local grocery store a mile away to pick up food to cook which was very nice. \ Bob is the best host. Not only is he very funny and easy to get along with. He is also very helpful if you ever need anything just text or call him. He is also very knowledgable about things to do, see, restaurants, beaches, shopping, etc. This house is also one level which is good if you have anyone elderly or young children staying with you. This is which the exception of the stairs going down to the pool, tennis court, and playground. Also, there is an apartment above the garage that you need to climb stairs to get to. This apartment is also great. It is a one bedroom with full kitchen, bathroom, and living room. I would recommend this place to anyone. Especially if you love Tennis or have kids.

“Amazing Horse Property 10 Min from Beach” I traveled to the Ranch by The Sea with my family. We had a large group with age range from age 5 to 75 years of age. This is the perfect destination for any age. Bob the owner was a terrific host. He showed us everything we needed to know about how to use everything on the property. He also gave us suggestions of restaurants, bars, and best places to go to the beach which was very helpful since we were not familiar with the area. Anything we needed we just had to text or call him and he was available. There is plenty to do on the property no matter what age you are. There are many private rooms with tvs if you are just looking to relax and have some quite time. There are also many common areas to have fun with others to play pool, arcade games, ping pong etc and not disturb anyone else. There is a large patio with a fantastic view overlooking the pool and San Diego. Every evening around sunset you would see hot air balloons in the sky that would take off around Del Mar Race Track. There are also great sunsets to the west that fill the sky with vibrant orange and pink colors that everyone loved! Both the kids and adults loved the pool and hot tub. There is a shallow end and a diving board so a little bit for everyone. There is plenty of seating by the pool to watch the kids or just lounge and kick back and sun tan. If you are a horse lover this property is a must. There are horses on property with a large riding arena. The owner gave both kids and adults very fun and informative riding lessons. He is very knowledgeable about horses and riding. He is fun but informative and safe all at the same time. So whether you are an experienced rider or first timer everyone can have a great time. The house is very large with many different bedrooms. It is great because you can have a large group but everyone can have piece and quite and their own space which we all thought was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the San Diego area. We definitely didn't want to leave and will be coming back soon to do it again.

“A fantastic home away from home!” We stayed at this house for a month over christmas and new years and loved it so much we have already booked a return trip. The house has everything you need for traveling with kids and is such a great location across from the beach and the coaster train station. The owners are fantastic and went out of their way to ensure that we had a great stay, going so far as loaning us wetsuits so that our kids could swim in the ocean. We absolutely loved our stay, have recommended it tirelessly to our friends and can't wait to stay again!

“A wonderful place to build memories” My wife and I recently stayed at the Crown Point beach house with our sons and their families. Spending this special time with our boys and the grand kids was enhanced by this beach house, which came completely equipped with more than we expected. Yvonne and Eric went above and beyond with their generousity. Would I recommend this beach house? Absolutely.

“Loved it!” I've been renting in San Diego for several years, always good experiences, but this was the best. The owner was very responsive when I had a question, the apt was perfect for our needs, and conveniently located. It came with fluffy towels and soft sheets, cute dishes, and was a great place to return to each night. I think I'll be a regular from here on. Thank you John, family, and staff. “This home was just perfect!” Casa Paloma was so charming and cozy, yet fully updated, and met our family's needs perfectly. The location was great, too. It is very nicely "tucked away" in a nice neighborhood with parking right in front (quite the amenity considering many places we visited!), but never took longer than about 20-30 minutes in any direction to see all the sights we wanted, and really check out San Diego and the surrounding area. We were so grateful to have everything we needed to just relax and enjoy ourselves. The kitchen is fully stocked, so prepping and cooking all our breakfasts before heading out each day was easy. All we had to do was bring the food, which was also a cinch, because there's a grocery store right up the road! We went to several beaches, and it was really convenient to have all the beach gear there for us to use! Also, having a washer & dryer in the home (with laundry soap & softener supplied for us!) ended up coming in quite handy a couple of times. Truly, this place has that home-away-from-home feel, and we can't wait to come visit again soon!
