“A Wonderful Family Week!” We just wanted to send a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay week before last. It was a wonderful opportunity for our family to gather and relax. We appreciated the ability to put the one year old baby to bed and be able to socialize in another area of the house without waking him. He loved looking at the horses and walking in the grass (simple pleasures!). This is the first time we have tried the weekly house rental idea and it was perfect for us. The property was lovely, well maintained, and welcoming. Thanks for everything.

The top-notch dining and shopping establishments, educational museums, and truly unique community provide all of the necessary ingredients for an unforgettable vacation experience.
Here are a few suggestions of things to do in Lancaster:
- Amish Buggy Rides: For a truly unique experience, jump on an Amish buggy and go on a scenic tour of Lancaster County.
- Amish Village: This 1840s farm house has been furnished as a typical Amish dwelling, and educational guided tours of the home and Amish lifestyle are held daily.
- Landis Valley Museum: Known as the largest Pennsylvania Dutch living history farm and village in the country, this museum features regular tours, traditional craft demonstrations, and a rotating calendar of exhibits.
- Strasburg Railroad: Ride on a restored passenger car that operates off a steam locomotive along the largest short-line railroad in the US.
No matter what time of year you visit, there will likely be something going on in Lancaster.
