“Paradise...check” My family found paradise ...Playa Hermosa. A very quaint town not overly run with tourist attractions. This condo was amazing. It was clean and comfortable with many fantastic amenities. We grilled out during a big football game here in the states. We swam laps and splashed around in the clean and quiet pool just feet from the condo. We were able to capture beautiful sunsets from the second floor balcony. The property staff also gave us limes and bananas picked on site that morning. A few step from the condo gets you to the ocean where the waves are crashing and the monkeys are playing over head. The on-site managers were friendly, kind, and very helpful suggesting things to do and see. The area was very safe. We all agreed we will return!

“Paradise” We stayed in the 2 floor cabin with two bedrooms with our son's family and had a wonderful week! The hosts (Eladio and Vanessa)and staff make you feel like family! The gracias hostess brought out toys for the grandchildren and sent fruit from their trees for us to enjoy! We loved the pool which is very clean and does not have the bleach smell. As they talked with us by the pool we learned more of Guanacaste. The birds were absolutely beautiful. We saw: White-ringed Fly Catcher, humming birds, green parrots, Blue Crowned Motmot (which is usually only down in Cabo Blanco), Morning Doves, a Baltimore Orial, Blue Grey Tanger, and Bronze head Black Bird. We went to the Volcano (Vieja)one day but it was closed due to activity. So we walked down the the nearby falls. Absolutely gorgeous. Wear your bathing suit! Another day we went to a beach near Nicaragua but the water there was too cold due to the Humbult current - like the Gulf stream up North that warms the water, this stream cools the water. I recommend Colebra! It is only 30 minutes away and absolutely beautiful. Bring your bug spray though. Only the mattresses will make you want to go home. They were a little hard, but normal for the area.

We met other vacationers who continue to stay at Villas Casa Loma each time they go to Costa Rica, sometimes staying for six months at a time...we can understand why as we will definitely be returning! “Costa Rican Paradise” We stayed here for 8 nights to attend a friend's wedding at the nearby Westin resort. We are so glad we chose this route instead of staying in one of the bigger hotels. It was peaceful, accommodating, clean and gave us a real taste of Costa Rica. The locals were wonderful and the nearby beach and few restaurants in the area, is all you need to enjoy your own piece of paradise.

“I'd stay her over and over again” Condo Tortuga is the perfect location for me. It's situated away from the main strip of Playa Guiones, towards the Gilded Iguana end of town. This means you are an easy walk from either part and you can get away from it all at the condo. Also, it's just 5 minutes to the beach, so perfect for my early morning and sunset surf sessions! The kitchen has everything you need and I found the bed and sofas very comfortable. There are nice little touches all over the place and Gary and Karen have put a lot of effort into making your stay a good one. You have to read their folder on things to do and see. It's the Nosara bible! There is a nice pool and that is looked after well. The condos, pool and grounds is surrounded by a wall and there is someone in the gate house 24/7. This gives that extra feeling of security. I've stayed in a couple of other condos here too. Each time, I've met and socialised with other people staying here too, so it's always been fun. My tip? Buy some meat and cold beers and fire up the grill :)

“Peace of mind and close to everything...” I am a travel agent here in the country and I like to explore with the family new options so I can recommend places to clients and friends. I have found Villas Casa Loma on the Internet,because I was looking for the right place to acommodate 9 people, 7 teenagers dad and mom... Villas Casa Loma is a great place where you can find a relaxing atmosphere,large Villas with beds for all participants if needed, great pools for the entire family and a full Kitchen so you can do your own meals. I want to recommend this place to any kind of traveller who wants a well preserve, privacy, and clean Villa with all you need for the trip, we recommend to rent a car so you can reach easily, Flamingo, Brasilito, Conchal, Tamarindo and Potrero beach... Igor and Tom are excellent people, very friendly and kind owners and always are a step ahead, we will return for sure and I will recommend your place to my clients and friend for sure. “A tropical getaway with all the comforts of home.” Property management staff was very helpful with all our arrangements, even arranging transportation from the airport. Felt very safe in the complex, very nice young lady came in twice in the 7 days we stayed and cleaned and straightened up. The home was beautiful with wonderful sunset view. We were 5 adults who were attending a wedding at Diria and we had plenty of space. The resort is beautiful, staff was very helpful and friendly. Just about all the restaurants we ate at were reasonably priced and the food was delicious. You could also walk to the little grocery stores. The pools were wonderful and the grounds were impeccably kept. The nightclubs close fairly early and the casino was small but all in all we loved walking around at night and felt safe. The roads and sidewalks in Tamarindo are undergoing improvements so driving is a little crazy. "Double yellow lines mean nothing in Costa Rica". Riding to and from the airport was an adventure in itself. I wish I could go back - 7 days was not enought to see this beautiful country.
