“Remote but beautiful” We really enjoyed our stay at El Encanto. The house was absolutely beautiful and the staff at El Encanto (Maria and alilat) were wonderful, taking care of all our needs. We had a chef prepare dinner one night (thanks, Aurora!) and it was delicious! Leftovers were great too. Pros: Beautiful House with all the trimmings Outdoor patio, pool, hot tub, and grill were fantastic Views to die for Cons: Road from Sjdc a true "country" road. . . needs repaving badly a bit distant from town (may be a pro for some) . . . 40 minutes to Chelleno beach made beach swimming a bit of a drive El Encanto beach not swimable Overall, if you are looking for a quiet, remote villa that checks all the boxes, look no further. The grounds, house, and staff met our every need. If you want to be closer to a swimming beach, shopping, and restaurants, you might consider another location.

“Costa azul Jem!” Val has a nice little condo that is clean and comfortable and in the perfect location for enjoying the surf breaks in Costa azul. The brand new BBQ on the balcony was a nice addition. The aC worked great. The remodeled bathroom was very nice. The pool areas were spotless and refreshing. The bed was comfortable. The appliances were all new and worked perfectly. Val was great and easy to reach we had no issues or hassles getting situated and getting our vacation started. We can't wait to come back!! The area of Costa azul has everything you need for a perfect vacation with great beaches, waves, restaurants and bars without the ridiculousness of what downtown Cabo has become.

“Five Stars” I visited Casa La Laguna last month and as far as luxury vacations go, the bar has officially been set for all future accommodations. I had been looking forward to this trip for quite some time and like most office professionals with a vacation on the horizon, I browsed the destination website compulsively. Casa La Laguna is even more spectacular than those gorgeous web photos would suggest. The second you pass through the main entry and look over the property and on into the crest of a wave-you're taken. You've got your own personal paradise and the sky is the limit. I was raised in the company of talented craftsmen and from an early age I was taught to pay attention to the smallest of details in homes; namely furniture, fixtures, and wood work. My standards are very high and Casa La Laguna greatly exceeded all of them. There is no question that the entire premises were designed thoughtfully with much love and not a single spared expense. I suggest taking a stroll around the main room and kitchen. Enjoy the massive chandelier and overhead beams while allowing your fingertips to glide over the smooth finish cabinetry. Casa La Laguna is near some terrific restaurants, but they offer such great food and service on grounds that you really need not leave. We were fortunate enough to have angel, the personal chef, prepare our meals for us and what a treat that was. The guacamole and huevos rancheros he prepared were supreme. Furthermore, the service of the staff and overall presentation of the food was on par and even above some of the finer restaurants I've visited in Newport Beach, Ca. When you have access to in-home dining of that caliber along with crashing waves, a heated pool, jacuzzi, water slide, full gym, and a media room that has a screen so large that athletes are lifesize; do you really need to leave at all? I think not. Casa La Laguna is a one-stop shop with all the bells and whistles to make it the basis of comparison for every future trip you'll take.

“Ultimate Relaxation” 5 retired couples stayed in this incredibly lovely Cabo home last week and all of us enjoyed everything about the place: its location, decor, beautiful decks/pool/spa, comfort everywhere plus a wonderful large kitchen for margarita making and guacamole preparation! We all would love to return and would highly recommend the house. Whale watching from the deck was an added bonus!

“fabulous time” Had a great time in Cabo over american Thanksgiving- the condo was beautiful, the grounds were lovely and the staff was exceptional. Our place was giant and well furnished and the pool was literally steps away. Great view, all around a wonderful vacation. Would highly recommend.

“Killer location, Beautfiul Home” We haved stayed over in this part of Cabo a few years back and returned this year again. Unit is right on the water. Landscaping is impeccable. Guard gated and safe. Buzzards restaurant you can walk to with great food. Flora Farms close by is great farm restaurant atmoshpere. Our unit was as convenient as you can get. We spent many a day just sitting out on the sand watching the waves and whales with no one in sight. Went for long walks and jogs on beach. Infinity pool, BBQ area was great for afternoon and evening meals if you do not want to go out. Great to keep a large group together and interacting as opposed to multiple hotel rooms. Did aTV close by and went out to 9 Palms and Shipwrecks. Concierge extremely helpful. Had massages on sight also. Best times in Cabo.

“The best of everything Mexico had to offer” My Wife and I stayed in one of the suites right off the pool, the entire wall opens up to a private deck and pool access that we just couldn't stop staring at. Definately one of those moments you see in all the vacation commercials ! As soon as we left we were looking at our next trip back. We sent so many pictures home to friends still at work... To make them jealous... Downtown San Jose is walking distance and some of the most amazing restaurants and live music we frankly weren't expecting. Cabo is a 45 minute drive to the middle of all the tourist trap stuff if you like that sort of thing, there was a shuttle to take us there from town but we elected to rent an open air Jeep for the fun of it. Don was a great Host and it's clear how much pride he takes in his home. He seems to have thought of everything. He's handy if you need anything, like where to pick up the best prices on food, the best restaurants, best dive and snorkle tours, best beaches... In short we wouldn't recommend stayin in the middle of Cabo when you have Don's place to choose from !
