“Woodland setting and close to ocean, but still close to all amen” I have stayed at a lot of different rental properties and can honestly say that the Tanglewood Beach House is one of the best I have stayed at. They have a great book that the owners created outlining the area and what there is to do. It also includes a reference guide for the condo on simple things but things that if you don't live there you wouldn't know how to turn certain things on/off and which remote does what. The kitchen also has everything you need to cook with.

“Bliss!” You won't be disappointed with this lovely condo. The view is spectacular with amazing sunrises and sunsets, the fresh scent of sea air and the accomodation is terrific. There's lots of room to spread out and enjoy. This was our second year at this condo and we decided that we'll be regular visitors year after year - it's just that good! We find that we can't help but unwind and relax here and each visit we plan to spend at few days on site (instead of venturing out) taking in the sea, relaxing beside the pool or having a swim and beach combing! Roz has thought of everything in the unit so you just need to bring your personal effects and you'll be well taken care of. The unit is very clean, beds and pillows are comfortable and there's no traces of pets from previous visits. The complex is very well maintained with a playground for the little ones, tennis court, several patios with Weber bbqs for everyone to use, pool and hot tub, poolside lounge chairs as well as tables and chairs, firepit, dock for your boat or perhaps fishing, even a herb garden. Looking forward to next year already!

“Wow your place is such a restful spot” Jeannie, we can't thank you enough for hosting my wife and I recently at Beachwood Cottage. Your place was everything that we could have hoped for and more. It was the perfect nest for us to relax in the sun, breath in the ocean-fresh air, observe the birds and wild life and pick fresh tasty vegetables from your garden for our salad. When we arrived it was clean and as described on the web-site. What a welcoming experience. “A Little Taste of Heaven” This was our 8th trip to the Resort, and have stayed in this condo the last 5 years...What a wonderful place to stay and get some rest & relaxation. The resort is beautiful & there's always something to see & do if you wish. The condo is all you can possibly want - large & airy, well-furnished and a great kitchen! The views are spectacular and you feel as if you are the only ones there. The privacy of this unit is great - yet you're close to everything - firepit by the water, pool, hot tub, tennis courts, bbq patio and even a kiddie play area. During our month here we saw pods of whales, seals, otters, hummingbirds & lots of eagles from our balcony. We even went clamming @ low tide and had 3 feasts of crab caught off the end of the dock! What more could you ask for? This place is what we consider a little taste of heaven on the west coast, and after a month here, returning to ONtario makes us look forward to returning again next spring.

“Peaceful Oasis” We had the extreme pleasure of staying at Patricia and Scott's condo. What a magical place. The location could not have been better. Waking up in the morning with the ocean alongside the master bedroom and then spending the day gazing out at the unobstructed views. It took me an hour to jealously wander about the condo in awe of all of the perfect details. Everything was though of - you could easily host a dinner party for 8 here and not be missing a thing. We have stayed at the most exclusive resorts on the Island, but never have we felt as if we were truly coming "home" when we returned to our suite, like we did here. We have adopted the condo, and I have adopted the perfectly situated chaise lounge for hours of reading and gazing. It is dead quiet, with lots to observe in the ocean... that bay is always changing. We did a short (6km) hike nearby and strolled on the beach. Dug up and steamed clams as well as shucked oysters off the beach and pan fried them. Cannot wait to return! Thanks Patricia and Scott! “Great things do come in small packages” Thanks to Angelika and Rob for their hospitality. Latoria guest suite is ideally situated in a location easily accessible to amenities but far enough removed from the hustle and bustle of greater Victoria. You can find yourself in either suburbia, downtown Victoria, or hiking the southern coast of the island all within a 30 minute drive. Olympic View G.C. is right across the road and it was tough for me not to wonder over daily for a round or two. The home comforts provided were valuable during our two week stay while a family member attended Royal Roads University. The building is quiet which is great for studying or rest and relaxation as was our case. Being located in the same building as Red Barn Market was excellent so we were able to quickly pick food items up. Would definitely return in the future.

“One Happy Camper x 2” My husband and I had a wonderful time at Black Rock Beach House, it is even more spectacular in person, we absolutely loved everything about it, everything was perfection! This is a beautiful home. We hated to leave each day but wanted to see the Wild Pacific Trail, so we reluctantly left the house and walked the Lighthouse Trail section of the trail, we picked a good day, gale force winds, marine advisories and spectacular waves, quite impressive. We had hoped for a storm and Mother Nature co-operated, wet & weary we returned to what is now our new favorite place, Black Rock Beach House. We walked the other sections of the trail the following days, all beautiful and peaceful. Never got to take the boat tour of the Broken Group Islands, or kayak due to the marine advisories and fog, hopefully next time, but the rain and fog didn't spoil our trip in the least, just added the adventure, we were happy to spend more time back at the house just staring out the windows at the waves crashing on the rocks, the eagles, and the Great Heron who came to the tidal pools in front of the house for his breakfast and dinner each day. We had an absolutely wonderful time and will definetly be back, next time bringing our 2 grown daughters. One Very Happy Camper x 2 New Jersey

“The Perfect Getaway!” I cannot say enough about Ron and Judy O’Brien and their beautiful vacation suite. We just returned from spending 10 days in beautiful Victoria. The suite was so comfortable and had everything we could imagine. Ron and Judy met us when we arrived and familiarized us with our accommodations. They were more than happy to give us some tips on what to see and where to visit, they even suggested some local musical talent that we enjoyed very much. Thanks to both Ron and Judy, our visit was effortless. This was our first experience renting privately. We own several time shares and vacation exclusively through them, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. Our stay was exceptional. Thank you Ron and Judy. We hope to see you again sometime. “Nothing was too much trouble” A lovely apartment in a quiet spot but convenient for local shops, the airport and ferry, and 20 minutes drive from downtown Victoria. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Kirk and Gloria were lovely hosts and we felt confident that if there was anything we needed then nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed for 4 nights while visiting family and seeing a few sights. It was nice to have a place where we could just come and go (own entrance) without any bother. Gloria kindly drove me to the airport to pick up my hire car - she just offered. Good for a family of 4. Bedrooms were a good size and the lounge had plenty of space. I'd happily stay there again.
