“Wonderful cottage, beautifully furnished and lovely owners!” We were recommended Mimosa Cottage by our friends and we're so glad that we took their advice and stayed there. The cottage is in a beautiful location and ideal for a really relaxing break. The cottage itself is decorated to a high standard and is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and cooker. Everything inside was spotlessly clean and had everything that you could possibly need for cooking. There is a log fire - although we didn't need to use this as the sun was shining the whole time we were there! There are three bedrooms with lovely comfortable beds and a cot/stairgate for babies. The bathroom has a shower - again everything is spotless. There is also a downstairs toilet. The grounds of the cottage are beautiful and well kept. Holly and Cha the owners are lovely and made us extremely welcome. There are also two friendly dogs Cezar and Bobbie) who belong to their neighbours and who will keep you entertained for hours - they also accompany you on walks! Holly and Cha have converted a barn which has enough space to hold functions/parties and would be ideal for family get togethers, parties or classes. There is also a pool in the field opposite the cottage. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Mimosa Cottage and would certainly recommend here to everyone. We look forward to returning next year as we had such a lovely relaxing holiday.

“Taking a break from Corporate Life” I booked Trevase Granary for a three day off-site meeting for the Board of Telefonica o2; it was perfect for this type of event as we were keen to get away from corporate life and have some quality thinking time. The barn is finished to a very high standard and every bedroom is en-suite. The kitchen has every gadget you could possibly require so we had great fun cooking together; the huge dining table allowed us to enjoy some very sociable meals. Finally the games room provided the post dinner competitive entertainment- great fun! I highly recommend this place.

“spot on for our family gathering” We hired muckno lodge for s family gathering, bringing people from monaghan, London, Surrey and Yorkshire together for a few days. The mginns were very welcoming and helpful and had a tray of scones and a pot of tea ready for us on arrival, which went down a treat. The house was very comfortable and suited our needs well. “wonderfull place to spend time” my wife and i spent a week here in may 2013,and have to say its the best place in france that we have visisted, we brought along our six year old grandson who absolutely loved it here. plenty of walks around the grounds and along the trout stream, playing poo sticks in the stream with my wife gillian. being able flying his little helicopter in the grassy field behind the gite and fishing the beautiful lake, watching grandad catch loads of big carp. the lake is very productive, you just wont stop catching double figure fish. accomodation is wonderfull and very tastefully arranged, all you can ask for from a holiday gite. ideally located between to small villages where to can buy all your needs. the owners, allan and josie are lovely people, very helpful and friendly. id recomend la chatouillette to everyone, as you wont find a better.

“A delightful haven on the beautiful Isle of Skye” This was our fifth family summer holiday to Skye and having had a disappointing cottage last year, we were keen to find a property that was as good as the one we had rented in previous years. The three of us were not disappointed by what we saw when opening the front door.The cottage was everything we could have wanted. It was clean, superbly furnished and had all the things necessary to make a holiday enjoyable. The views from the lounge were amazing. It was lovely to watch the changing scenery and wildlife from the comfort of a warm cottage. Both bedrooms were very comfortable and we liked having the two bathrooms between us. In previous years we have stayed in Broadford, so it was good to have a more central place from which to explore the island. We even managed to visit some new area's this time. The booking process was really efficient and queries were dealt with almost by return. The owners also rang us to check that everything was to our satisfaction, which was a nice touch. Comments in the visitors book were all very complimentary. Overall, a fantastic cottage, lovely hospitality and a great holiday. We will be booking shortly for next year.

“A comfortable and spacious Gite” We found the cottage exactly as described on the website. It is spacious with extremely comfortable lounge furniture. The hosts who live next door were not intrusive and when asked gave excellent advice about things to do in the area. We only used the bicyles on one occassion but knowing that these facilities are available adds to the holiday pleasure. Having WiFi is an added bonus and the flat panel TV with both french and English channels is great for those who feel the need to catch up with the world news. The cottage is set in a very quiet hamlet surrounded by farms. it is only a 5 minute drive to pick up the morning baguette or small items.

“A great stay at Mimosa Lodge!” We arrived at Mimosa Lodge on our motor bike from Caen via the overnight ferry feeling a little tired and looking slightly dishevelled, but after no time at all were fully relaxed. A beautiful house, in perfect surroundings. Thanks to all concerned, we had a great stay. Looking forward to the next time . . . . . this year I hope!
