Description
Located in the beautiful countryside of West Wales, this Cottage is a former blacksmiths that has been stylishly converted to keep its original charm. Brechfa Forest with its world famous mountain biking trails is nearby and the area is also great for walking , salmon fishing or indeed just relaxing. Managed by Best of Wales Holiday Cottages.

Ground floor
Open plan kitchen, living and dining area, with stunning log burner in the original forge fire place.
Kitchen – Fully equipped kitchen including full sized fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, toaster and microwave.
Comfy leather sofas with cosy seating for up to 6 people. Large flat screen TV on a swinging bracket so it can be viewed from many different angles in the room.
Dining table with seating for 6.
Stunning spiral staircase leading up to 1st floor gallery bedroom. This staircase has been designed by a local artist and craftsman.
Bedroom 1 – Twin bedroom with cupboard and chest of drawers.
Bathroom – Large bathroom with roll top bath, wc, sink and separate shower unit .
Upstairs
Bedroom 2 - Master bedroom is a large gallery room with chest of drawers and storage. Great views of countryside and village.
Outside
Garden table and chairs and large shared garden area. The garden is shared with owners property next door; however, owners are only resident for a short time of the year.

Mobile signal can be patchy and currently there is no coverage with Vodafone.

Carmarthenshire offers lots to see and do. It is easy to access the coast and walk the Coastal Path. Or just visit the local towns for great local produce, the cheeses are fabulous. Great cottage, near the trails and Brechfa forest so was perfect for out mountain biking weekend. A great log fire to relax and enjoy after a day on the bike was perfect. Would definitely come back to… More

Response from the manager Thank you for the great comments and booking with Best of Wales. There are amazing mountain biking trails in the area with something for all levels of ability. The Derwen Trail is great for families or the black run Raven Trail for the more adventurous. The log fire after a ride makes it a great way to relax and maybe take a short trip to the coast next time to recharge the batteries. Maybe even visit Dylan Thomas' Boathouse at Laugharne.
