Description

Monica and Seán welcome you to Glenview Lodge. We have been 4 star approved by Fáilte Ireland(the Irish tourist board) since we tastefully restored the cottage in 2005 and began welcoming guests.

This farmhouse which is ideal for touring the South and West of Ireland is situated in its own private grounds in the heart of rural Limerick and is approached via a long driveway offering spectacular views of the local countryside where you can enjoy the local Broadford Ashford Walking Trails. The Limerick Greenway and Kingdom of Kerry Greenway are only 20 mins. from Glenview Lodge and carve a 56km path through the local countryside for cyclists, runners and walkers. Explore in one visit or in shorter stages.

Glenview Lodge has received the Covid-19 Safety Charter confirming that we are following Fáilte Ireland's safety guidelines.

The house in its tranquil setting among mature gardens including some ancient beech trees combines the charm of an old farmhouse with high quality living. The highest standard of accommodation is provided while retaining the building’s old traditional character and without losing its authenticity. Complementary WiFi is available in the living room and first floor bedrooms.

A deposit of €10.00 per night is included in your rental charge for electricity and heating oil. This is metered and the actual cost of electricity and heating oil is calculated at the time of departure with additional amount paid or refunded depending on actual usage. We endeavour to minimize our impact on the environment by economic use of electricity and heating oil.

A food essentials starter pack of tea, coffee, milk, fruit and bread (or biscuits) is provided together with a starter pack of logs for stove which have been cut from fallen trees and branches. Further provisions can be purchased in Broadford village 2kms away.
