VILLA CORTINELLA
This property is a renovated Tuscan house on two levels, less than a 10-minute drive from Lucca historical walls.
Located in a quiet and strategic position to visit all the attractions in northern Tuscany, it is surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and other plants.
The house, the garden and the in-ground 10 meters long swimming pool are rented a group at a time: only you will use them!
This is one of the few properties in the area with air-conditioning in all the bedrooms.

* Table-tennis table (ping pong), mini football goal posts, beach chairs, sunbeds, a big table with chairs, brick barbecue
* 10 mt/5 mt/ 1,5 mt pool (lenght/width/depth), cleaned and sanitized every day

“The true spirit of Tuscany lies here - a wonderful place to stay!”
We had a truly amazing time at Giacomo's house in Capannori and feel really lucky to have found such a great place to stay at such short notice. We love a lot of space so the house suited us perfectly, the house is spotlessly clean and comfortable and decorated in traditional Tuscan style. We all enjoyed having our own independent suite, it was like having a small hotel all to ourselves! The garden is simply beautiful, we were blessed with a week of blue skies so spent lots of time relaxing in and out of the pool amongst the vines, olive and lemon trees and playing “ Boules” under the shade of the trees. There's lots of useful touring information and maps available but what we appreciated most of all was Giacomo's help with our excursions, he loves his world and has a wealth of local knowledge, thanks to him we got to see the best places in Tuscany. We explored the Capannori hilltop villages, dined at a great restaurant in the medieval city of Lucca, visited the famous Uffizi art gallery in Florence and went on a day trip to the pretty Cinque Terra villages on the coast. During our week's stay (which was not long enough) Giacomo and his family were so kind to us, bringing us small treasures from their fruit and vegetable garden, we were totally spoilt. Villa Cortina is quintessentially Italian where you have the added bonus of making a great friend too, we do hope to see Giacomo again soon and have the opportunity of hosting his trip to the Arcachon Bay in France in the near future.
