Description
Moynihan's is located in a sheltered position on the rugged Toe Head peninsula, off the 'Wild Atlantic Way', and is a haven of tranquillity with a sandy beach less than a mile away. The large kitchen-dining room has fabulous sea views (as do two of the bedrooms). A 5th bedroom and additional living accommodation is provided in an adjoining annex so the property also suits two families holidaying together (but we do not let this separately). The large garden, terrace and indoor accommodation provide plenty of space for dining whatever the weather, and a wood burning stove keeps the living room warm. There is ample indoor and outdoor play areas for children and there is ample parking.
The property is 4 miles from the picturesque village of Castletownshend where there is a shop and two pubs - one with a renowned seafood restaurant. The larger market town of Skibbereen is approximately 6 miles away. Fishing, sea kayaking and whale watching are close by.

“Amazing”
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home. The house is in a stunning location with simply the most amazing views, however what made this holiday one off the best for is was dealing with the owners Paula and the most Pauline, both ladies are a pleasure to deal with and couldn't do enough for us. The local knowledge of the area and things to do was second to none esp the things you won't find in a guide book. We will be back. We loved it. Thank you.
