This lovely semi-detached cottage is situated in the village of Chirnside and sleeps four people in two bedrooms.Kirkgate Cottage is a delightful semi-detached cottage situated in the village of Chirnside near Duns and Berwick-upon-Tweed. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one twin, together with a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with open fire. Outside there's roadside parking and a yard with furniture. Kirkgate Cottage is a charming holiday home with plenty of attractions and places to visit in the area, including around the Scottish Borders and Northumberland.

Amenities: Electric central heating with open fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking for 1 car. Enclosed yard with furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 8 mins walk, pub 1 min walk. Note: Sloping ceilings in first floor rooms. Note: Steps down to yard and the yard itself can be slippery when wet. Note: Property is next to a road, some associated noise can be heard when outside.

Town: The village of Chirnside occupies an elevated position overlooking the River Whiteadder and offers stunning views across the magnificent Cheviot and Lammermuir Hills. A number of interesting landmarks depict the village's long history, including a 16th Century dovecot and a beautiful parish church, believed to date back to the 12th century.

Just back from spending a week at this lovely cottage it is spotlessly clean with everything you need the open fire was a bonus on a chilly night could not fault it will definitely book again
