Description

Imagine waking up in a large comfortable king size bed, sitting up and immediately looking out the huge loft window behind you to a breathtaking sunrise behind the Sapphire Mountains! You let out a sigh as you glance in front of you and see the majestic Bitterroot Mountains in all their glory out the front loft window. Inspired by the awesome beauty, you climb out of bed, walk down the steps into the small, but efficient, kitchen and brew up a pot of hot coffee. Taking your freshly brewed coffee out onto the spacious deck, you sit down in the red rocking chair to soak in the glorious morning while planning your fun day of outdoor activities in the Bitterroot!

Which activity should you do today? Should you take a scenic hike on one of the numerous trails in the nearby National Forest? Or take a swim and soak some sun on the beautiful sandy beach of Lake Como, which is only 20 minutes from the rental cabin. Perhaps you should grab the fishing pole and try your hand at fly fishing in the Bitterroot River, also only minutes from the vacation cabin. There are so many activities nearby that it is hard to decide which one to do first! But, it's okay...there are several more days left on your vacation so you can try to fit it all in. While you decide, you head towards the bathroom with the antique claw foot bathtub but since it has a shower attachment you chose to take a shower instead. After the hot shower, you fry up some bacon and eggs so the hearty breakfast will help carry you through all the activities in the Bitterroot Valley. Later, after a full and eventful day, you arrive back at the Eagle's Nest cabin and sink in the comfortable couch to relax. However, it's difficult to watch the Direct TV as the view out the expansive row of windows in front of you keeps taking your eyes off of the TV. Then the spectacular sunset appears again over the Bitterroot Mountains...so, you can't resist, you turn off the TV, step through the sliding glass doors onto the spacious deck. Once again you unwind by watching the sunset as you sit on the red rocking chair sipping a glass of wine. Ah, life doesn't get any better than this! Suddenly a mule deer, or was that an elk, runs by in the field below. Wow, you gotta love Montana with all its beauty and you think...Boy, am I glad I decided to visit the "Eagle Nest" cabin...I'm going to have to do this again next year!

When you check in we will hand you the keys and show you to your cabin. We live on the same property as the Cabin in the log home where you check in, so we are available to you if you need anything or have any problems. But we will give you your privacy.

House rules

Smoking is NOT allowed in the cabin. A $500 fee will be applied if smoking is done inside of the cabin to go towards cleaning. Smoking is allowed outside but please put out butts in the supplied can with sand located on the deck.

Pets are allowed. Dogs must be on a leash but in the lower field you can let them off the leash to play fetch. But maintain voice control. Please clean up after your dog.

How do damage deposits work?
