“Beautiful Property” The entire staff was terrific. Viviana was super helpful as she was able to make travel arrangements for us to make our stay enjoyable. Stephen was also terrific, he was great during booking and even called to check in with us while we were there. My only regret is not taking Stephen's recommendation to have our cars (Suvs!) delivered directly to the villa. Also, do not get anything but an SUV as a rental, a regular car will not make it up to the villa.

“Spectacular!!!” Our stay at Hacienda Encantada during the days 21 to 25 July 2013, it was an unforgettable experience. Comfortable, clean and everything you need to have fun with the family. The landscape, the rainy season, and the ambient sounds of birds and animals were elements that made us feel at peace and in communication with nature. Although the way to reach the house was a bit difficult, the same was not reason to stop enjoying all of the wonderful of the place. Talk with Mayquel on the customs and way of life of the inhabitants of the area, it was very interesting. Without a doubt, we would love to return. Thanks Marty.

“Near the Beach = fun!” i had a great time with my stay in Costa rica being right by the beach and having the pool right outside. The pool is gorgeous and always warm for late night swims! I am looking Forward for planning my next trip here!

“Best Vacation Ever” This was the perfect condo for our best vacation ever. We came as three couples and each couple had its own private room, bathroom and balcony. The design of the condo allows for a huge great room were we all gathered to discuss our daily events. The owner arranged to have his own private limo/guide pick us up from the airport. He also arrange free pedicures and manicures as well as nail art from a local Spa. It was the best my nails have ever looked in my entire life. When we arrived at the condo we were in awe of the beautiful condo and the breath taking views of the pacific ocean. The condo has an 20 foot mural of the ocean that you see when you first enter the unit. Your eyes then go from the mural to the most beautiful ocean view that my husband and I have ever seen. This unit was immaculately clean and decorated with luxury sculptures. The mattresses and linens were best we have ever slept on in all of our years of travel. During the mornings we would walk the beach, then each afternoon we did a local trip of either Zip-Linning, Fishing, ATV, or hiking. Then in the late afternoon the ladies went to the private pool as the men worked out in the private work out room. At night we went to some fabulous restaurants that the owner recommended and got a discount for us. Two nights we went out dancing to early in the morning. One thing we never missed was the sunsets from the balcony. The view from his balcony was spectacular. I would highly recommend you staying at this condo. We are coming back next year and this is the only place we will stay.

“We are hooked.” This was our second trip to the Casa and we must say it was better than the first. My wife and I had 10 days to explore and take in the Country like we had never before. We found the rainy season (Sept) more to our liking and would highly recommend that time of the year to truly experience the beauty of the region. Cannot say enough about Randy's staff and hospitality, something truly unique in todays environment. As I Titled this review as being hooked for it truly did hook us, to the point we have purchased a house east of Parrita and are moving up our retirement dates. “Great villa and location” We had such a wonderful, relaxing stay at Casa Margarita. The villa is spacious and clean, with a great terraced outside area with beautiful views, and a nice pool for cooling down. Lounging after a day at the beach, looking out at the sunset over the Pacific (with a cocktail in hand) has to be one of life's great experiences! Pete and Maggie were very helpful in terms of advice and tips in advance of our trip out there. We went snorkelling, fishing, diving, went on the zip line tour, and spent lots of time on Samara and Carillo beaches (both quiet and beautiful). The wildlife was also a real highlight - particularly the monkeys and hummingbirds

“Over the top Hospitality and Care!” My husband and I made the decision to visit Light of Dawn after our daughter's awesome honeymoon and wedding experience at Light of Dawn 3 years prior to our stay. This is a completely worry-free travel experience because Deborah and Pete attend to your every need. From your transportation, food, and excursions, your hosts gladly advise and accommodate whatever you desire. You will feel like family with Edgar, your chef, Clara, your housekeeper, Deborah and Pete, your hosts as you enjoy the lush beauty of Costa Rica. My husband even cooked with Edgar during our stay, fun! We did the zip-line, river rafting, sunset sail, and the Vanilla plantation tours and loved them all. “Relaxing - Fantastic location- Great waves!” Great location on beach access road. Large individual units are great for either renting individually or together with large group. The units are nearly identical, and both are large enough to easily hold 6 people. Each unit is two bedrooms and two full bathrooms plus the living room furniture quickly converts to beds. The kitchen was well stocked. There is an outdoor charcoal & wood grill. In the early am I liked to take a short walk or go to the roof top to listen and watch the howler monkeys and all of the birds. The pool area always became a relaxing lunch hideaway in the afternoon heat. There is a very large table where we could take our time eating having drinks, and relaxing while keeping an eye on the kids floating in the pool. There is also a very nice outdoor beach restaurant and bar right at the end of the road on the beach. We had so much fun surfing, boogieboarding, snorkeling, & exploring. The perfect riding waves at this spot were endless. Even when it looked fairly flat, eventually a nice set would roll in. I recommend bringing flip flops for walking the beach road as you can go barefoot but the sand near the top of the beach gets very hot in the afternoon sun. We have stayed at a few places in the area, but will definitely be returning to Sandy Bottoms!

“Our stay at the lake arenal” We stayed with 2 families 54 kids between 5 and 7) in the Lake arenal cabins. We really enjoyed our stay in this fabulous environment. Tucans flying in the garden during breakfast, monkeys on top of the cabin, the noice of the volcano. The cabins itself are well kept and practical, perfect breakfast, the host very helpful. Do not miss this place during your trip in Costa Rica!

“nice, clean and spacious!” we booked casa alemendro on-line with greg the owner and were very pleased with the apartment. it was much bigger than i expected and very tastefully decorated. the kitchen was open and well stocked for our group. the location is perfect, just a block from the beach and within walking distance to zwart cafe and ginger, two great breakfast spots. we enjoyed many nights on the patio and saw monkeys, birds and squirrels right from the table. i would highly recommend this accommodation and thanks to greg for his hospitality. hopefully we will be back!
