Description
Garn Barn has an upside down layout so you can relax and take in the wonderful views.
Two ground floor bedrooms. One with a superking size double and the second smaller bedroom with kingsize bed. Downstairs wet room & upstairs toilet & shower. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge.
Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge with icebox, dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer.
Lovely patio area with table & chairs. Own enclosed garden. Exterior sloped access to the downstairs as well as internal staircase. Suitable for persons with limited mobility. Large parking area.
The barn was originally a tumble down cart shed which was renovated in 2014. It is set on our smallholding. There are chicken (fresh eggs), sheep,goats, & our two dogs
There is direct access to the common land. You can walk straight onto the Preseli hills from the top of our land.
The county town of Cardigan is 15 mins drive away as is the coast at Newport. It is situated in a great location for touring the area
Although our barn is conveniently situated directly off of the A478, our drive is 200m long so we are well away from the road.
The village of Crymych has all the ameneties you need. There is a butchers, chemist, doctors surgery, spar shop, fuel station to name but a few. There is also a swimming pool & leisure centre.
Please note, during the school holidays & over the Christmas & New Year period we only accept reservations for a minimum of seven nights.

“Superb base to visit Pembrokeshire and beyond”
The barn was a great base, very well equipped and providing everything we needed for our stay. We were provided with fresh produce on our arrival which was lovely.

“Wonderful accommodation”
We stayed from 11th August - 25th August 2018. The accommodation is lovely and much better than website pics which will never do it justice. Very hospitable hosts who were a pleasure to talk with and were full of hints and tips about places to visit and where to eat in the area but were also welcomed information on new places they had not tried so as to pass onto future guests. We have stayed at a few cottages on and off in the UK over the years but what was impressive about this one aside from the welcome food was the amount of none food items available (which we replaced) to get you started and ongoing for most of the holiday e.g. K Rolls and dishwasher tablets etc - very attentive and generous hosts. So many beautiful areas and places to visit including Newport and Poppit Beaches, the lovely town of Cardigan, Cenarth and its wonderful tea room, the steam railway, Colby Woodland gardens near Amroth (NT) and Heatherton Adventure play centre is great for children and adults as an alternative to the usual theme park. Good quality and reasonably priced family pub food can be found at the Ship Inn at Aberporth, where the staff are very friendly too. Abercych has a superb pub called the Nags Head for a special dining experience. Considering the weather wasn't brilliant for our stay we still would have liked to have stayed another week as we liked the accommodation and area so much, and the driving is a pleasure with quiet roads even at peak season. The locals are very friendly and we are planning on booking again next year, and we hope Pembrokeshire stays as it is and never becomes like Cornwall!
