Response from the manager Our comments regarding this review are as follows: We do not have a blonde cleaner and I would be very surprised if any of our staff were rude. I will however look into this. The wifi is NOT a con, because of the remote area it comes in via satellite and has limited monthly data. We can purchase extra data if required by guests and this is supplied at cost price. This is made very clear in our listing. You were sent a fair usage policy for the wifi but this was ignored as a months supply of data was used in 2 days. You point out that your phone agreement has 20 GB which lasts you a month, so why was 20 GB used in 2 days in the cabin? The phone signal on Vodafone is very good in the area. Check-in is not at all random. You were sent full check-in details, including exact location for key collection. If you choose not to read the information that is sent we can take no responsibility for this. We also request in you check-in paperwork that you call ahead to confirm arrival time; this did not happen. For the record a hot tub is indeed effectively a large outdoor bath. I think you way be confusing this with a spa or Jaquzzi, which would have jets etc. The hot tub is very expensive to run, so £60 is very good value. We charge this as an optional extra as many guests do not want the use of such, we feel it is not therefore fair to include it in cabin price, which would of course have to be increased to cover cost of tub. £20 per dog is a very reasonable and quite normal charge. It is a SELF CATERING cabin, which is why we ask guests to replace anything of ours that they use. This is also quite normal practice. And yes, we would expect you to provide your own washing up liquid etc as is normal for self catering. We also make it very clear that you should bring your own towels, again this is not unusual. For guests reading this review we would request that you read our other reviews, the vast majority of which give a 5/5 score. It is our view that this guest misunderstood that the accommodation is self catering, has not read our listing details or any information sent to her.
