Description

Beech is the biggest of our lodges sleeping up to 5 people, with three bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin and 1 small single room)

It's the ideal lodge for the larger family or group with three bedrooms, a modern kitchen, living room, dining area and a wet room with electric shower, under floor heating and towel rail.

The large external terrace is an ideal place to sit and watch the world go by.

Due to Scotland's new licensing laws occupancy is strictly limited to 5 which includes babies and children of any age.

Curl up after a day out on one of the comfy sofas with our stock of good books, local information guides, board games and jigsaws. There's also a TV with Freesat if you just want to chill out.

There's a fast internet connection courtesy of our recently installed Starlink satellite broadband.

Beech lodge is heated with electric wall mounted heaters in every room.

If you aren't taking advantage of our amazing local restaurants the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook up a feast. There's a full oven and grill, microwave, slow cooker and all the pots and pans you could need. We also make sure there's a full complement of matching crockery, wine and champagne glasses, pint glasses and tall and short tumblers. We also have properly sharp knives and decent size mugs!

There's a gate on the front porch so you can trap in any mischievous children or pups.

We are always happy for your four legged friends to come on holiday with you and each dog receives their own welcome pack upon arrival. There is a maximum of two dogs and a cost of £25 per dog per stay.

Getting around

A car is the best way to travel on the island - public transport is limited and the west coast is barely served by public transport. Many people do cycle around the island and we can assist you in finding bike hire while you are here.

Interaction with guest

We'll be here to show you to your accommodation when you arrive. Whilst we are originally from Yorkshire, we've been on the island since 2015 and we can advise you about what to see on the island and where to go, whether you're here for a few days or a week. Bear in mind that the island has 300 miles of coastline and so there's a lot to see! Once you have booked we will send through a copy of our information book which has lots of information on what to see and do.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
