Description from owner
Description
Dolmurgoch is a Wales Tourist Board 4 STAR stone built cottage set in a secluded location in the heart of the Lledr Valley - one of Wales' most beautiful locations. A stream runs past the cottage and on through our fifteen acres of land toward the Afon (River) Lledr.
In spring time Welsh poppies line the winding lane and the rocky outcrop is carpeted in blue bells. The Lledr river runs alongside the lower field and is home to many species of birds including king-fishers, herons, wagtails and dippers….a nature lovers paradise! The cottage is a mile from the village with pubs and general store and four miles from the bustling inland resort of Betws-y-coed.
The Lledr Valley is a hub for a number of mountain and drover's trails and the cottage is ideal for walkers and those who love the Welsh lakes and mountains. Indeed the ancient Roman Road, Sarn Helen, runs past the cottage en-route from the Conwy Valley to Mid Wales.
Please note that we have a minimum charge of £320.00 whether it is a 3 night, 2 night, or 1 night stay.

“Dream Cottage”
The location of the cottage is easily accessible even though down a track. It's peaceful, quaint with streams tumbling down the hillside. The cottage is fully equipped, no need to take anything and lots of thoughtful gestures to make your stay more pleasurable. Easy access to walks straight from the cottage and quite central to visit the surrounding area. Great little spar shop nearby for logs and essentials.

Response from the owner Thank you Caroline for a lovely review. I have to agree "the area that this cottage is located is MAGICAL! I felt like I was in a fairy glen, with waterfalls and lime green moss covered trees surrounding the house - it was simply lovely!" That was why we bought the cottage and that's the way we are trying to keep it. Thanks again. Bernard and Eira Wyn

Response from the owner We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Dolmurgoch. I am just sorry that the tunnel to the lower field was flooded. I am afraid it is in the hands of network Rail to fix the problem, and I will be chasing them up asap.
