Description
The villa is individually designed, and has panoramic views over Kavros sandy beach, with stunning views and sunsets. The villa was designed as a family home and is therefore well equipped, offering superb family accommodation. It is an authentic Cretan tranditional stone build villa fully renovated, which consists of the 100m2 main building with many stone walls and authentic wooden ceilings. The villa combines tradition and luxury .
The villa can easily accommodate up to 8 persons and it is ideal for relaxing family holidays. Actually, it consists of 2 seperate smaller villas next to each other, in the same building. There are are 2 fully equipped kitchens, 2 living rooms and 2 dining areas. There are 2 bedrooms with large and comfortable beds. The 2 wooden handmade staircases lead to the 2 autonomous lofts, which are the rest 2 bedrooms of our villa, with traditional Cretan decor and wooden floors. There are also 2 bathrooms with toilet and shower.
The 2 living areas lead to the large veranda which is the most impressive spot of the house. You can relax and enjoy your drink or coffee under the Cretan sun, with the spectacular view of the sea. This veranda combines sea-view and mountain view and it has also an outdoor dining area in order to enjoy your meals under the big parasols. Furthermore, there is a large garden just in front of the building that your children will love. An ideal place for people that search for graphic vacations in a space with modern facilities and a hospitable atmosphere, furnished carefully and tastefully.
Finally, all kind of amenities are in walking distance from the villa and you can also easily walk to the nearest sandy beach of Kavros or to the restaurants for lunch or dinner. With a few minutes drive, you will explore the famous lake of Kournas, Georgioupoli and the natural sources of Argiroupoli. It is the ideal place to explore both Chania and Rethymnon and it is located between them.
Location:
The villa is perfectly possitioned in Kavros village, between Chania and Rethymnon, approximately 41 km East of Chania and 19 km West of Rethymno, just 3 km from Georgioupolis. Although it is close to Rethymno, the area is considered to belong in the prefecture of Chania. An amazing area with a wide variety of hotels and shops covering your every need, one next to the other, with the 10km long beach stretching from Georgioupolis beach and ending to the east up to Episkopi, is the ideal destination to consider when travelling abroad. There are also supermarkets, pharmacies, tavernas, restaurants and bars in the center of the village.
The beach is perfectly organized and it will make you absolutely adore the area of Kavros. This is the ideal holiday destination for families that wish to spend quality time together, far and away from all the busy winter times and discover their more natural self. The thing is that here it would be difficult for you not to adore this beach! Besides Kavros is a seaside resort that is in general a quieter place than Georgioupolis and is situated in the heart of this astonishing area.
Besides the most characteristic part of the district is the natural water system which is thought to be one of the most important systems in the East Mediterranean. With Lake of Kournas, Argiroupoli natural sources and an amount of streams like Delfinas River that borders on the beach, you will fell astonished by this diverse and amazing scenery in the heart of Chania. A very good public transport connects Chania and Rethymnon with the village of Kavros. The bus drops you on the main road, just a couple of minutes away from the center of the village.
