Description

Rose St is just 2 minutes away from Princes St, the famous main street of Edinburgh with shops and restaurants on one side and the lovely Princes St Gardens on the other. Edinburgh Castle dominates Princes St as it rises up into the sky above the Gardens.The comfortable accommodation is furnished to a high standard and comprises of an entrance hall, a spacious living room with a fitted kitchen, a good sized bedroom with a king sized bed and a bathroom with a large shower. A further person can be accommodated on a single fold out chair bed. The apartment looks out into Rose Street. It is only 40 metres to Princes Street to the south and to George St to the north. Rose Street itself is a bustling, attractive pedestrianised street with restaurants, shops and bars. The nearest supermarket is only 30m away. Perfect for either a city break or working in Edinburgh. Would suit singles, couples or families visiting Edinburgh for either work or leisure.

If two people do not wish to share the main bed or indeed the bedroom, the chair bed can be made available on request. There is an additional one off charge of £15 (£30 during August) for this to cover laundry and labour.

A cot and a high chair can be made available on request ( notice may be required so please check before booking). There is a one off cost of £10 for one item and £15 for both.

Please remove outdoor shoes in the apartment.

Please wash dishes and leave them to dry before departure. A 2 hour clean is included in the cost of your stay which is plenty of time for 99% of cleans. If the clean requires more time than this, guests will be asked for a further payment.

Notify me if there are any breakages/damage. It is so much easier to deal with if I have some notice!

Getting around

Edinburgh is a "walkable" city and best seen on foot. There are numerous bus stops on Princes St and the local bus company, Lothian Buses has an excellent app to help you find your way. The public buses accept only exact change or contactless cards and sell both single tickets and unlimited day tickets. There are numerous Hop on, Hop off buses which stop near the main sites.

-a 2 hour clean is included in the cost of your stay. Please wash dirty dishes, leave to dry and take out full bags of rubbish. Bags that are not full can be left. You will be expected to pay for the extra time.
-This apartment is strictly NO SMOKING. Guests will be asked to pay £100 for a deep clean if there is a smell of cigarette smoke.
-The fold out bed in the living room have a weight limit of 14 stone/196lbs/88kg
- The fold out bed is only available by prior arrangement.
