We hope that we can welcome you to our favourite house.

FEATURES are LOCATION, NUMBER OF BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS.

CITY CENTRE, SPACIOUS, FAMILY HOUSE. Our three storey, unpretentious, townhouse with 3 bathrooms and 7 bedrooms, each with a double or king bed, works very well for couples, singles and groups, whether friends or families.. We can accommodate up to seven couples or singles with their own room, 13 singles and 20 guests if sharing the double beds. In addition we have a box bedroom no 8 with 2 singles. We are very nicely situated on a corner facing a church, and close to the centre.There is a bathroom or shower room on each floor, a lovely living room with a Bechstein boudoir grand piano, a large dining room, which can seat twenty or more, a front garden and a back patio. It is close to shops and buses, and many tourist sites are within walking distance. It is an excellent base for visiting Edinburgh and Scotland.

The great features are the space, number of bathrooms, bedrooms and a great location.

Getting around

The local Edinburgh bus service is excellent with individual and family day tickets available. the house is on the number 8 route which passes through the centre. The new tram service and many other routes can be joined within a 10 minute walk. Many tourist sites are within walking distance. If coming by car it is useful to make a tour of the city near the beginning or at some point during your stay.

Interaction with guest

We like to welcome guests on arrival and tell them about the key safety and practical aspects of the house, and also have a safe place for the key in the front garden to cover all situations. We live only a few minutes away so usually available for a quick visit if guests need anything or something comes up. We keep tourist and travel leaflets at the house and are glad to help with visitor information before your arrival, on arrival, and during your stay..
