Description

Lake Trail is built around a gorgeous natural-light kitchen with a central island, a beautiful sitting room with overstuffed leather seating and a stone fireplace. The large wrap-around porch with Adirondack and rocking chairs are perfect for relaxing and socializing, or just gazing into the forest. Lake Trail also has a large outdoor area for events which includes a basketball hoop and a detached art/music studio (additional fee required).

East Wing (1st floor):

Master Bedroom with King bed and fireplace

Sunroom (just off the Master) with 2 Twin beds

Loft (just above Master) with 2 Twin beds

Privacy warning: Guests sleeping in Loft and Sunroom must go through Master to access the full bath.

West Wing (bedrooms on 2nd floor):

Leopard Room with queen bed and twin bed shares full bathroom with the Bird Room.

The Bird Room with queen bed shares full bathroom with Leopard Room.

A sleeping space off the first floor hallway holds a twin bed.

You will receive your door code before you arrive at Lake Trail House; however, payment of taxes is a must before door codes are issued. Additional guests must be checked in at the main office. If you would like to host an EVENT, you must receive permission from the owner in advance and register all guests who will be attending. Any unregistered guest will be escorted from the property.

The House is located 19 miles from Midtown Nashville (Hwy 440) and 23 miles from HonkyTonk Central if you use Hwy 100. Taking McCrory Road to I-40 has less stop lights, but is a longer route. Both Downtown Franklin and the Loveless cafe are 8 miles away.

Interaction with guest

At Lake Trail, you have privacy from neighbors and noise, but should you wish to meet friends, Big East Fork Retreat is close by and always looking for new friends! We generally leave our guests alone, but may visit at appropriate times to say hello.
