NOTE: Our home is higher quality than many homes on the Mountain and priced as such. 6% occupancy tax is included in our rate. We also offer discounts on 3-10 day stay, so inquire with dates for rates. 2 day min 10 day max!

Each season offers the opportunity for incredible sunsets from our deck. Come enjoy our lovely mountain home.

If you’ve never heard of Pine Mountain Club, you’re not alone. Said to be one of Southern California’s best-kept secrets, or the nearby, faraway place, Pine Mountain Club is rich in history – located within the Chumash Wilderness in the Los Padres National Forest, wildlife abounds, as well as endless hiking trails, star-gazing opportunities and nothing but nature to enjoy. The sunsets from our deck are incredible, hence the name ‘sunset view’! The quaint Village offers restaurants, shops, a pub, a market, as well as a laundromat along with a kid-friendly park. The clubhouse boasts a 9-hole PGA rated golf course, as well as a game room, tennis courts, a golf-course view restaurant and a seasonal community pool. Up to four (4) guest passes are included in the rental.

Built 12/2003, our home is located at 6000’ and is two-story – very clean and well-maintained, beautifully decorated with quality mountain style furnishings and décor that blend with the mountain views. Speaking of views… our great room, with living / dining area along with an open-concept kitchen, looks out on awesome unobstructed mountain views. If you enjoy wildlife, you may see deer, bear, foxes, bobcats, as well as squirrels and a large variety of birds. Our newly rebuilt attached deck is right off of the great room and one of our favorite spots for viewing sunsets and star-filled night skies. There are no street lights in the area, which makes star-gazing a real treat! With a 40’ flat screen TV in the great room and TV’s in both bedrooms (all with extended cable), you will be in touch with the outside world, if you desire. Verizon now provides cell service and we provide secure Internet (Wi-Fi), so you’re all set.

Our home sleeps up to four (4) with two (2) private bedrooms (both with queen beds) and two (2) baths – perfect for one or two couples or a small family of four (4). We supply blankets, comforters,pillows and throws – guests may elect linens (sheets / towels) for a nominal fee. Hand and bath soap provided!

Because this is our second home, we offer endless amenities, including, but not limited to: all paper products (Toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towels, foil, baggies, foil, napkins, etc.), popcorn, hot chocolate, herbal teas, salt, pepper and sugar, as well as every appliance. We also provide beautiful dishes, glassware and silverware along with cookware and every utensil imaginable. A complete list of ‘offerings’ is provided to guests once reservation in confirmed.

Our landscape is beautifully maintained with wild sage, fragrant lavender, rosemary and wild mint. Our red maple is a sight to see in the fall! Our quiet street (mainly second homes) provides our guests peace and quiet – enjoy the sound of the wind in the pines or a pine cone rolling down the street.

With our four season climate, this is the perfect year-round escape from city life. You will enjoy wild flowers in the spring, mild summers, awesome fall colors and SNOW in the winter. Mt. Pino’s (8300’-8800’) is nearby and well-known by astronomers, as well as its cross-country skiing and snow-play opportunities when there’s snow. CHP requires that guests carry chains or have a 4X4 when accessing our area throughout the snow season.

We are dog-friendly (up to two dogs – 50lbs or less) for a small non-refundable pet fee. Please disclose dogs when inquiring.

Two (2) night minimum on all rentals - ten (10) night maximum - 6% occupancy tax and utilities are currently included in our rental rate. We offer on-site check-in, as well as early check-in and late check-out whenever possible. We also offer return guest discounts along with discounts on week-long stays. This is our second home, so we cannot accommodate long-term (more than 10 day) guests.
