Description
Gannet Cottage is a traditional fisherman's cottage with all mod-cons located in the Seatown area of Gardenstown, which is a conservation area, directly on the seafront in a stunning and quiet location of natural beauty. Fantastic sea views from inside the cottage. From your sofa watch the many birds on the seashore; try and spot the dolphins, or just watch the boats entering and leaving the harbour. The cottage has been upgraded but retains many of the original cottage's charm and character.
Traditional features like low ceilings; small steep staircase; bedroom door entered directly off the staircase etc are complimented by modern day luxuries like a wood burning stove; electric heating; WI-FI; wall mounted large flat screen television with freeview; Egyptian cotton bedding; viewing scope for keeping an eye on the wildlife; Bose bluetooth speaker; fully fitted dining kitchen; washing machine etc., etc.
Sorry we don't allow pets in the cottage.

“Just lovely!”
We had a lovely two weeks in this cottage. The view was spectacular, the sea literally on our doorstep . It was extremely tranquil - probably because we were very fortunate with the weather! The cottage itself we found be cosy and comfortable on the whole, but it could benefit from a dishwasher. The kitchen was plenty large enough to accommodate one. Gardenstown itself was very quaint and the locals were friendly. It has a handy Wee Shoppe and a local pub. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend Gannet Cottage.

“Chilled out seaside cottage”
We loved this traditional little cottage. I totally chilled out sitting with the wood burning stove just feet from the sea. We'll be back.
