Newly built in 2016 semi-detached and self-contained holiday flat situated in a relaxing and quiet corner of the popular seaside village of Gullane. 'The Hawthorns' runs adjacent to Muirfield Golf Course and paths leading directly to Gullane beach are on the doorstep.
This modern accommodation has been finished to a high standard with quality fixtures and fittings throughout, super-fast broadband, SMART tv with dvd and Nespresso coffee maker, amongst other mod cons. The flat faces an open garden space with dedicated lawn at the front and an enclosed south-facing garden area at the back. For cooler evenings at any time of year guests can relax beside 'Little Red', the wood burning stove. Great for walkers, golfers, cyclists, children of all ages, wildlife enthusiasts and anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in a stunningly beautiful coastal area. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
The village of Gullane offers something for everyone including well-known pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. North Berwick is just 10 minutes by car, and Edinburgh, one of Europe's most beautiful and popular cities, is just 20 minutes by train.

“A lovely relaxing place to stay.”
Very comfortable accommodation in a great setting. Parking was easy and train station 10 minutes away so easy to get to North Berwick and Edinburgh.

“Perfect location for a relaxing getaway”
This was our first time visiting this area but it definitely won’t be our last. We absolutely fell in love with Gullane and East Lothian. This holiday cottage made the perfect base for exploring the local area and had absolutely everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The property was warm and inviting, well maintained and felt like a true home away from home. We never struggled to find a parking space just opposite to the cottage as it is right at the end of a quiet residential area. Our dog absolutely loved his daily walks across the bents and down to the stunning beach (approx 15 minute walk away). We also loved walking in to the village, which has absolutely everything you need from brunch spots to evening meals (again approx 15 minute walk). We wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.
