Description

The cabin was built in the 1890's, and sits on Canyon Ferry Lake, 17 miles from Helena, Montana. We have 2 other listings on the 8 acre property if more space is needed. It is a 20 minute drive from Helena Regional Airport. Historic decor, with modern conveniences, 2 large showers, claw foot tub, washer/dryer, gas range, microwave. Three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, spectacular private upstairs master suite with ensuite bathroom. Great lake and mountain views from the king size bed. Two other very comfortable bedrooms, both with queen size beds, each with their own vanity, and a shared shower/toilet room between. Stone cookhouse on deck with Monarch wood range. Truly a wonderful old home, beautifully restored. This will be a memorable Montana experience for you. We even have a couple of ghost stories for you! Cabin is furnished with an eye to the past and your comfort in mind. Includes wifi. This has been our private retreat for 30 years, and feels like a home. There are large well-furnished decks. Canyon Ferry Lake is 26 miles long, on the Missouri River. Yacht Basin Marina and Schooner's Restaurant are a 5 minute walk. Kim's Marina is 3 miles (boat rental available). Centrally located with easy drives to Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park, and Lewis & Clark Caverns. Please note this is a non-smoking home. Smoking is not allowed on the premises. Check-in is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 10:00 a.m. We try to be as versatile as we can on this. If you need an exception, please let us know ahead of time.
