Description from owner
Description
Auchgoyle Bay Cottage is the perfect base to explore Argyll – the Coast of the Gaels. The cottage is in the small village of Minard, just south of Inveraray and has direct views across the ever-changing panorama of Loch Fyne.
There are walks to suit all abilities from the cottage, along the shore, round the village and up into the hills to the deserted Feorlin village or a short walk away at the National Trust gardens at Crarae. The loch shore is 100 metres away, where you can launch small boats and kayaks.
Inveraray and Lochgilphead offer a range of facilities including restaurants, shops and other tourist attractions. Both are a short drive away. You can explore further afield if you wish with Oban and Kintyre within easy reach, but just as easily spend a week within a few miles of the cottage and do something different every day.

Please try to recycle waste in the bins provided as care for the environment is an important part of how we manage the cottage.
And finally...changeovers can be quite hectic and if you're able to leave the cottage clean and tidy that would be a great help.

“Amazing Auchgoyle Cottage”
Our intention was to go away for the week and chill out. When we arrived at the cottage the weather was a bit grim, but I suppose this is to be expected in October in Scotland. We arrived to a lovely welcome tray with a box of tea cakes and a bottle of wine and ice cream in the fridge for the kids. The cottage itself was, cozy, inviting and fully equipped. The log fire was lovely as we don’t have one at home, we took full advantage of it, every night. There was a lot of information on walks in the area and about the cottage itself. There were plenty of books, games and activities to keep the kids entertained. Brian and Becs were very friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this cottage. We visited Glenfinnan whilst here and the scenery on the way was amazing. Overall we loved our visit to Auchgoyle Cottage. It was truly exceptional.
