“Pet friendly lodge”
The lodge is in a quiet setting with lovely views all round only ten minutes walk to beach. We were so lucky with the weather.Allan the owner was extremely helpful and contactable with any questions we may have had . It would have been nice had we been able to dine at the Kinloch Hotel but fully booked so went to the Ormidale Hotel in Brodick which is dog friendly.

“Good value family accommodation near Blackwaterfoot.”
We were struggling to find a suitable place for our short break with 2 couples and a child within our budget, when we found this gem. The owner was easily contactable both before and during our stay. The lodge was well maintained and larger than I expected (I had thought it might be similar to a static caravan). The owner had also told me that there was a travel cot there which was very handy. On arrival we also discovered a booster seat style high chair so that was a bonus. The lodge situated a distance from the road so our toddler could potter about on the decking quite happily. Although it is on an estate with other lodges, they are carefully placed so that there are beautiful views from all the windows. It was a short car journey to Blackwaterfoot which is a lovely village which reminded me of the Isle of Stuay from the "Katie Morag" books. It has a small park and a beach both of which our toddler loved. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends.

“Very spacious lodge in great location”
Wanted a spcious property in a location that was close to pubs, golf and eating out. This fits the bill perfectly. 4 of us travelling with golf clubs and luggage(including food and drink) and plenty of space for all! Only a 15 min walk to the village where there is a great butcher, a bakery and a very friendly pub within the hotel. BBQ facility othe spacious deck. Would recommend.
