Description
Góiln Cottage is a small 2 bedroom cottage situated 5 KM from the world famous seaside village of Lahinch in Co. Clare. This tastefully restored cottage can be used as the ideal touring base to see all Co. Clare has to offer. The cottage is situated down a quite county lane just 100m off the Wild Atlantic Way with a small rock beach only 2 minutes walk to the rear. From this little beach you will be overwhelmed by the breath taking views of the Atlantic Ocean. The cottage is small and cosy with combined kitchen/living area and an open fire. Wifi is available on request. This is a prepay Wifi and is an extra charge. The 2 bedrooms consist of 1 double bedroom and 1 single bedroom. The cottage itself is only 45 minutes dive from Shannon Airport. The Cliffs of Moher is just 15 minutes drive and the famous Burren region is just 30 minutes away.
There's plenty to do locally, from walking or cycling on the quiet country roads to surfing and swimming on the nearby beach, in Lahinch, which also offers kite and wind surfing and on White Strand on the way to Miltown Malbay. Nearby are two well known restaurants, all other services are available in Lahinch and Miltown Malbay, both 10-15 mins. away.

“Peaceful location and great location for touring”
Góilín Cottage was perfect for my husband's and my week's holiday on the Wild Atlantic Way, it was comfortable, it had everything we needed and the host was very helpful and friendly. It's located on a lane leading to a lovely quiet cove which looks out over Liscannor Bay. It's a few km out of Lahinch and is ideally placed for visiting scenic locations around the county - we enjoyed visiting Kilkee, Kilrush, beautiful Scattery Island, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Ailwee Caves, Bunratty and the lovely towns Lahinch, Enistymon and Ennis. Would recommend booking Vaughan's of Liscannor and the Atlantic Hotel in Lahinch for dinner! Ideal cottage for a couple or a group of three.
