“Peacefully Perfect”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2021

Lovely place if you want quiet from modern day noise, your own babbling stream and lots of birds. But you do need to drive for 10 mins to get to anything you need. Not a problem for us. The Old Kiln is lovely accommodation with everything you need, and some little extra touches. Hosts Sue and Malcom very welcoming and helpful although we pretty much found everything we needed. Excellent information about what to do and where. For those of us that want 'country quiet but with good communication with the outside world' the broadband was great and more than made up for the virtually non existent mobile phone coverage. We were blessed with good weather all week and the the whole trip was therefore maybe a little 'rose tinted' lovely!

Lovely to sit on the balcony at the end of the day with a drink, listening to the stream, watching the birds or late at night looking at the stars in total darkness( no light pollution here).
