Kite Cottage is one of 5 cottages available at Maesydderwen Holiday Cottages all with hot tubs. Kite Cottage offers everything you may need whether you are looking for a relaxing haven or want an active holiday, it is the ideal base. You can walk direct from the cottage door, explore the Brecon Beacons National Park, fish on the River Towy, cycle in the Brechfa Forest or the many cycle tracks. Located only 3 miles from the market town of Llandeilo, the cottage is also ideally located for visiting the many tourist attractions including Carreg Cennen Castle, National Showcaves, Dinefwr Park, Aberglasney Gardens and stunning beaches. For those wanting to take it easier or to relax after a busy day, the raised patio with its own private hot tub and 3 steps leading down to a large lawned area. Alfresco dining and BBQ on the patio whist taking in the spectacular views over the wildlife rich wetland. The 42 acre site offers ample space for children to play, everything from ball games to flying kites.The accommodation includes a double bedroom, a bedroom with full size bunk beds, a fully equipped kitchen and cosy lounge dining area. All bed linen, towels and electric are included. We also provide a range of games and books to entertain all ages whether its a wet afternoon or just to wile away the evening. There is an array of wildlife to see for all ages, Roe deer frequently wander around the cottages, badgers play in the woods, Red Kites fly overhead and Woodpeckers, Siskins, Redstarts, Nuthatches and many more feed at the strategically placed feeding stations only feet away from the patio. Kite Cottage is available for families, friends, couples, or can be booked with our other cottages for larger parties.Maesydderwen is only 1 mile from the Beacons Way making it an ideal luxury stopover point.
