Wren Cottage is one of 5 cottages available at Maesydderwen Holiday Cottages and offers a peaceful getaway in an idyllic, tranquil location on the Western fringes of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Located 3 miles from the market town of Llandeilo, home to boutique shops, tea rooms, ice-cream parlour and music, food and art festivals throughout the year. The cottage is perfectly located for anyone who enjoys the outdoors with fishing, hiking and cycling all either from the door or nearby. The raised private patio has its own hot tub and 2 steps down leading to a large lawned area overlooking a wetland and is ideal for birdwatchers with Red Kites, Woodpeckers, Heron, Siskins, Redstarts, Cuckoo, Nuthatches, Tree creepers all only feet away from you. The peace and quiet of this rural idyll complements a relaxing holiday and is available for families, couples, or can be booked with our other cottages for larger parties.Maesydderwen is only 1 mile from the Beacons Way making it an ideal luxury stopover point. There are walks from the cottage door and throughout the surrounding area including the Brecon Beacons and Brechfa Forest which also has a network of cycle tracks. Other cycle routes are available in the Brecon Beacons or as part of the National Cycle Network e.g. Millennium Coastal Path at Pembrey Country Park.The cottage has a double bedroom and a single bedroom ideal for any age child or adult. A cot and highchair are also available on request. The private patio has table and chairs providing opportunity for alfresco dining or just somewhere to sit and relax.Being set in 42 acres the site provides plenty of outside space for children to play and explore including bluebell woods, fairy dells and a stream with waterfalls.
