Description
Situato nella splendida campagna toscana il Borghetto è un antico molino le cui parti più antiche risalgono al medioevo. Si trova lungo le pendici del Pratomagno a breve distanza da Loro Ciuffenna, paese medioevale pieno di charme. I tre edifici che lo compongono sono stati restaurati in modo da conservarne le caratteristiche originarie: in essi si trovano 5 appartamenti di dimensioni diverse. La fattoria è disposta lungo il torrente Ciuffenna e produce olio, vino, frutta e verdura.
Una piscina ed una sauna sono a disposizione esclusiva degli ospiti .
THE HAMLET LE GUALCHIERE is an amazing property in beautiful and unspoiled countryside.
The location is superb equidistant from Florence, Siena and Arezzo and the place itself is utterly beautiful, with vineyards, olives, a river at the end of the property, and completely calm in its setting, as it is at the end of a small side road with no traffic.
Loro Ciuffenna is the closest village. This is a lovely medieval village with an amazing view on the river Ciuffenna. THE MILL is considered of historical relevance by the local authorities, since its oldest part dates back to the 14th century.
The 5 apartments are attractive, country Tuscan and extremely comfortable. The environment is easy, relaxing and beautiful beyond description. There are self-catering facilities in each apartment and private bathrooms.
A sauna , free for the guests , is also available.

“Beautiful!”
I stayed here with 8 friends in September & it was great! We had 3 apartments between us which were all beautifully furnished in a typical Tuscan style. It was very peaceful & so pretty. A few of my friends went for walks on a daily basis, venturing to a local vineyard, into Loro Ciuffenna & just enjoying the scenery. You need to be fairly fit to walk around the area as it’s quite steep in places but this is Tuscany after all! It took me a few goes to get used to driving to molino Le Gualchiere as it’s a small road with tight bends but I got there! Claudia made us feel very welcome & was very helpful. One evening we had a lovely Tuscan meal in the Taverna. I can highly recommend this as it was delicious & very good value! It really is a beautiful place to stay & it’s lovely to see a local charity working here. Highly recommended!

“lovely place in toscana”

“What a great hidden spot, we will be back !”
We rented this property with a large group of friends that came to Tuscany from all over the world to catch up ( NZ, USA, Switzerland, Italy & Hungary ) . We had such a great time! The facilities are great, everything is there that you need to have a good time. It was so relaxing to just lie at the pool amongst the olive trees and read a book, you can take beautiful walks next to the river and in the evening you watch the fireflies do their thing while you eat dinner, or just sit on your deck and have a glass of wine. It's a close enough drive from Montevarchi or Arezzo if you need some city action & shopping.
