Ground floor apartment with garden.
Peaceful location in unspoilt Tuscan village with all amenities.
Recently renovated with sympathy for original features: independent entrance & hall, spacious living area with fully fitted kitchen, double sofa bed, large double bedroom and bathroom with shower. Traditional beamed & terracotta ceilings throughout. Outside there is an ancient pizza oven, private patio 12sqm (with table, chairs and parasol) and private garden. There is a beautiful 8m x 4m pool shared with the owners, with wonderful views of Castelvecchio and the Pisan Mountains. Gas/charcoal barbecue available. Bike hire available.
The main village is 300m walk away through olive groves, where you will find a bar, baker's, pizzeria, some shops and a tennis court available for hire. There are many restaurants in the area. You can enjoy a varied holiday: relaxing in the garden & wandering through the village, visiting cultural cities & hill-top towns (being south of Lucca this is an excellent location for exploring Tuscany), walking in marshlands or mountains, sunbathing on the beach or by the pool. English owners always available for advice. The beautiful walled city of Lucca is 20 minutes away, Pontedera is 20 minutes away with fast trains to Pisa, Florence and beyond.
Gas for heating in winter is charged according to the amount used. The apartment is in a typical Italian courtyard setting where 3 families live full-time.
